Ring of Honor Wrestling is coming up on its 500th television episode, and they are celebrating in style with two super bouts.

In the main event, brothers will collide to settle their differences when Jay Briscoe battles Mark Briscoe in singles action. This bout was originally set to take place back in March 2020 at ROH’s Past vs Present show, but the COVID pandemic forced cancellation.

Fast forward to current times and the Briscoes still have an itch to scratch. At the advice of their father, unfinished business needs to be sorted before they can refocus as a top tag team to chase the titles. The Briscoe brothers appeared on ROH’s very first event, so it is only fitting that they main event.

The other super bout to take place on the 500th episode of ROH Wrestling will be Jonathan Gresham defending the Pure Championship against Jay Lethal. This contest between Foundation members was requested by fans in ROH The Experience. Gresham and Lethal were the favorites to meet in the final of the Pure Championship tournament, but Tracy Williams scored the upset on Lethal in the semifinal. Now, the time has come for the two to wrestle in Pure competition.

The 500th show will air on the weekend of April 16 on local affiliates carrying the program. Check for ROH channel listings in your area. It will also be available on ROH Honor Club or Fite TV released on Monday, April 19.

ROH is providing an advance airing on Thursday, April 15 through the STIRR and PLEX apps on their Best On The Planet streaming channel. Festivities began at 6 pm ET with a two-hour special featuring the greatest matches from the program’s history. The lineup includes World’s Greatest Tag Team vs. Kings of Wrestling, Jay Briscoe vs. Matt Hardy, Steel Cage Warfare: ROH vs. S.C.U.M., Young Bucks vs. reDRagon vs. The Kingdom in a street fight, along with AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, and Cody Rhodes in action. The 500th episode premiere follows at 8 pm ET.

Who are you picking to win in the Briscoes battle and the Foundation contest? Who will you be rooting for?
