This week, we’re voting on nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows that took place April 18 - 24 - Raw, Dark: Elevation, Dark, NXT, Dynamite, Fusion, Impact, SmackDown, ROH TV, and anything else I’m forgetting.
But first, here’s the outcome of last week’s voting, and how those results changed our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Here’s to the start of our tenth year!
- SmackDown’s big WrestleMania winners kept their momentum going. Swiss lead the way with what looked at the time like it was going to be a shot at the Tribal Chief.
- A surprising Cruiserweight title change gave us NXT’s top ranked wrestler, but we support Indi Wrestling... and her romance with a certain Tortured Artist... too.
- AEW had a pretty good rankings week to go with their huge ratings week. The TNT titleholder led the way, with a guy who would be a tag champ today if some egomaniacs hadn’t unmasked him, and those self-same egomaniacs following behind.
- The Queen doesn’t land in our Top 10 often, but by embracing her heel side, that might change this year.
