Poster for PWA Black Label It Started Out With a Kiss PWA Black Label on Twitter

Welcome back to the Sermon on the Mat, your weekly one-stop shop for news from the wider world of wrestling beyond the big cable TV monoliths that get all the coverage.

Coming soon...

Beyond Signature Series Episode 3 (Mar. 11, 8PM Eastern)

  1. Atticus Cogar vs. Jody Threat
  2. Faith in Nothing (Rickey Shane Page & Vincent Nothing) vs. Milk Chocolate (Brandon Watts & Randy Summers) (Tournament For Tomorrow First Round Match)
  3. Matt Makowski vs. Tony Deppen (Greatest Rivals Round Robin Tournament Match)

Beyond’s Signature Series is rolling on with three more tight slices of the finest indie wrestling has to offer and holy hell that’s Faith in Nothing reunited to take part in TFT! To the best of my (and Cagematch’s) knowledge, RSP and Nothing haven’t teamed together since 2011!

Check it out, live as always, on IWTV.

PWA Black Label It Started With a Kiss (Mar. 12, 4AM Eastern)

  1. 30-Person PWA Rumble
  2. AJ Istria vs. Sam Osborne
  3. Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) vs. the Nations (Jack Bonza & Mick Moretti)
  4. Charli Evans vs. Jessica Troy (c) (PWWA Championship No Disqualification Match)
  5. Caveman Ugg (c) vs. Ricky South (PWA Heavyweight Championship)

Wrestling has been booming down under and PWA Black Label is rolling! Friends, Aussie Open is a name I haven’t had to write in here in a minute but one I am glad to see, and that tag match should be abosolutely killer. Plus Evans and Troy tearing each other down, and hey, everybody loves a Rumble!

Check it out live on FITE, folks.

Sean Henderson Presents Money Longer (Mar. 13, 8PM Eastern)

  1. Kristian Robinson vs. Reid Walker
  2. Dyln McKay vs. Jimmy Lloyd
  3. Drew Blood vs. Marcus Mathers
  4. Boomer Hatfield vs. G-Raver

Sean Henderson is back with another self-promoted show out of H2O’s arena in Williamstown, New Jersey! Boomer Hatfield squaring up against the might of G-Raver is the most obviously exciting match of the bunch here but it should be a night of good friendly violent fun all the same.

Check it out live on IWTV, friends.

RPW Epic Encounters 9 (Mar. 14, 7PM GMT)

  1. Aleah James & Kanji vs. Bobbi Tyler & Zoe Lucas
  2. Chris Ridgeway vs. JJ Gale
  3. Ricky Knight, Jr. vs. Screwface Ahmed (SWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Bracket B Match)
  4. Charlie Sterling vs. Dan Moloney (SWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Bracket A Match)
  5. Kid Lykos II vs. Michael Oku (c) (RPW British Cruiserweight Championship)
  6. Jamie Hayter (c) vs. Skye Smitson (RPW British Women’s Championship)

RevPro have been running these Epic Encounters shows for a minute now and I figured it was high time to include them back in our lineup, so here we go! We’re running a tournament to crown a new SWE Champion before it finally at long last gets unified into the RPW British Heavyweight Championship, plus a women’s title defense and Oku teaching the new Lykos the meaning of pain.

Check it out free on RevPro’s YouTube, folks!

Free matches here!

Scarlett Bordeaux vs. Shotzi Blackheart

Starting off short and sweet and sprinty this week courtesy of AAW. The Ballsy Badass brings it to Scarlett in under six minutes, check it out!

IWS Best of Intergender Vol. 1

Quebec’s International Wrestling Syndicate has this comp for us this week, nearly an hour of the best intergender wrestling they have to offer, featuring LuFisto, Vanessa Kraven, and more!

Arik Cannon vs. Darin Corbin vs. Orange Cassidy vs. Priscilla Kelly

Four corners of fun from F1RST Wrestling!

Maxwell Jacob Friedman vs. Rickey Shane Page

Alpha-1 Wrestling’s efforts to open their archives to us roll on, and what more fitting in the week that owner “All Ego” Ethan Page debuts for AEW than to feature one of his new coworkers wrestling his “brother” Rickey? Don’t miss it!

Chris Dickinson vs. Tony Deppen

From Beyond, we have a match that they just recently reprised as part of this year’s GRRR, enjoy!

Best of ECCW in the 2000s

Last but not least we swing back around to another one of these giant ECCW comps, this one featuring matches from across the entire promotion— it starts with Jim “the Anvil” Neidhart teaming with AEW’s Luther and ends on six-man insanity, you know you wanna toss this bad boy on!

As always...

Remember folks, no matter what type of wrestling you like, no matter how down you feel about the state of WWE, AEW, Impact, ROH, or any other “big-time” pro wrestling, there’s something out there for you. There’s a pro wrestling product that can hit you in the right spot and make you love wrestling like you thought you’d never be able to love it again. It’s there, I promise. You just gotta reach out and find it, and that, my friends, is what the Sermon on the Mat is all about.
