Briscoes to defend GCW tag titles at ROH Honor for All

Ring of Honor announced plans to scale back in 2022, however, the company is full steam ahead until then. With that in mind, ROH announced a special Honor for All streaming event exclusively on HonorClub airing Sunday, Nov. 14. The most intriguing bout is a GCW tag title defense by the Briscoes.

The Briscoe brothers ventured into GCW to win gold from the Second Gear Crew duo of Mance Warner and Matthew Justice on October 23. Now, SGC is coming to ROH to take it back. SGC members Effy and AJ Gray got the call this time around.

The full card for Honor for All includes:

  • No DQ: Bandido vs. Demonic Flamita
  • ROH World Tag Team Championship: Dragon Lee & Kenny King (c) vs. Matt Taven & Mike Bennett
  • GCW Tag Team Championship: Briscoes (c) vs. Effy & AJ Gray
  • Jonathan Gresham vs. Brody King
  • Tracy Williams vs. Taylor Rust
  • Quinn McKay & Vita Von Starr vs. Trish Adora & Holidead

The ROH World Championship will not be on the line when Bandido wrestles Flamita in a no DQ grudge match. The pair of luchadores, along with Rey Horus, had been ROH six-man champs, then the trio went down in flames when Flamita began embracing his rudo side.

Los Ingobernables defend the ROH tag titles against OGK. Matt Taven and Mike Bennett are coming in hot with consecutive wins over the Briscoes then Bandido & Horus.

When Jonathan Gresham announced he would leave the Pure division to chase the world title, ROH obliged and handed him a huge test. If the 5’4” Gresham can use his technical skills to conquer the 6’5” Brody King, then there is a good chance he can position himself for a title shot at the Final Battle PPV on December 11.

Even though Tracy Williams and Taylor Rust isn’t officially a Pure contest, they will no doubt let their Pure skills shine.

The women’s tag bout contains curious combinations for the teams. Vita Von Starr has been evil when taking orders from Vincent. The Horror King claims to have been purified as of late, and his group dresses in all white. It is likely that nobody trusts him, but this will be a chance for Von Starr to prove herself alongside Quinn McKay.
