The Nightly: November 28th, 2021

Hello Nightly!!!

Doing a retrospective in a different way, as I’m still at work as there’s a million price changes, and my shift today was solo, so I have no help in executing these price changes, so this intro is gonna be a bit rushed. But bottom line is that this was Nitro’s 100th episode, and they celebrated with a three hour episode. This was the first three hour episode, and unfortunately it would not be the last. JJ Dillon is trying to get Sting back in the ring, Giant and Macho Man are having their issues, but the biggest thing on this show was Luger beating Hogan to win the WCW title, despite them having a title match in less than a week at Road Wild. And I wasn’t crazy about this happening, I feel like it kind of undermined Sting’s Starrcade moment. I think that they should have just kept the belt on Hogan and then Sting ultimately beats him once and for all at Starrcade.

On to the Nightly.
