nZo & Homicide booked for MLW War Chamber event

MLW is about to have a certified G in their presence. TMZ broke the news that nZo (fka Enzo Amore) will be coming to MLW’s War Chamber event in Philadelphia on November 6.

nZo explained:

“Bottom line, now is MLW going to be a one-off? Absolutely not. Line them up and knock them down. I don’t care where I am. I don’t care who I’m wrestling for. I haven’t signed any contracts. I’m here to have great matches, and MLW has some great opponents. I’m not going to take anything away from those guys. They can go, and I’ve seen some of them go. And right now in my office, you can see MLW’s on (his TV). Alright? I’m checking out the talent over there.”

Don’t get your hopes up for the song and dance routine of Enzo Amore. nZo is out to show he is a Real One:

“Look it, if I get in the ring with somebody, I’m not singing and dancing. You want that from me? Go watch my old shit. This is like Jay-Z. You want my old shit? Go listen to my old shit, alright? This is a new me. I’m Real One. And you can call me nZo, you can call me champ, just don’t call me late for dinner.”

MLW has not revealed an opponent yet for nZo.

Along with the announcement of that G, MLW booked an OG to War Chamber. Welcome Homicide back to the mix. Homicide wrestled for MLW during their initial run in 2003. His opponent will be lucha libre legend LA Park. You can thank matchmaker Cesar Duran (alias Dario Cueto) for booking that super lucha.

In addition, MLW announced a ladder match for the National Openweight Championship. After Alexander Hammerstone defeated Jacob Fatu for the world title to become a double champ, he relinquished the national title. Duran decided the most sensible approach to crown a new titleholder was a violent and chaotic LADDER MATCH!

The participants for the ladder match will be Alex Shelley, Myron Reed, Zenshi, Alex Kane, and a wild card entrant.

It wouldn’t be a War Chamber event without a War Chamber match. Alexander Hammerstone will be leading his Hammerheads team with Richard Holliday, EJ Nduka, and one more bruiser against the Contra Unit quartet of Jacob Fatu, Josef Samael, Mads Krugger, and Ikuro Kwon.

The War Chamber event is being filmed for episodes of MLW Fusion, so we shouldn’t have to wait too long to enjoy all this primo action. Tickets (here) are available to witness the show live in Philadelphia.

Are you excited for the arrival of nZo in MLW? How does the War Chamber card stack up so far?
