The Nightly: October 21st, 2021

Hello Nightly!!!

It’s the fallout Raw for Revenge of the Taker!

The Sultan vs. Ahmed Johnson:

Alright match.

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart in a Street Fight:

This was more of an angle than a match, mainly as an injury angle for Bret to cover for an actual knee surgery. But it was a great angle with Austin going insane, getting in Gorilla Monsoon’s face and accusing Vince McMahon of jumping on the Stone Cold bandwagon.

Tiger Ali Singh vs. Salvatore Sincere:

Mediocre match.

Rockabilly vs. Jesse James:

Dull match.

Undertaker vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley:

Decent match, would end in a DQ, when Mankind came out with a blowtorch in an attempt to finish what was started at Revenge of the Taker, and to get revenge on Taker for what had happened to Uncle Paul the night before.

The show would end with Brian Pillman officially making his return as part of the Hart Foundation. So great to have Pillman back on weekly WWF TV. Overall, this was a really fun Raw, largely due to Bret/Austin.

On to the Nightly.
