Women’s Royal Rumble Match
The road to WrestleMania kicks off tonight with the Royal Rumble. At this point, the women’s rumble is really anyone’s game with a few notable favorites.
We do not know who entrant one or entrant two will be at the time of this writing but we did find out that Natalya will be entering at 30 - the coveted final spot. (Not that it will help her much.)
The declared entrants are as follows:
The Road to Royal Rumble
The favorite to win has to be Bianca Belair. Not only has she been excelling in the spotlight during her feud with former formidable champion Bayley, but her WWE 24 special was a notable hit. Winning the rumble is the next big move for the EST of WWE.
Carmella is just a pit stop for The Boss. It’s time she has some real competition and it doesn’t get more competitive than the EST! Bayley and her obstacle course can confirm.
Bianca is the obvious choice considering her recent push, which also means that she’s just as likely to lose. If that happens, who will take her place?
Former NXT champion and rumored call up Rhea Ripley is a favorite. Nothing says “Hi! I go here now,” quite like a rumble win.
Ronda Rousey is always a threat. And yes, I do mean threat. As in, her return threatens the legitimacy of the entire division.
Charlotte Flair exists and is therefore a favorite to win and maybe just *maybe* The Man is ready for her triumphant return.
And then there is hells favorite baby doll, Alexa Bliss. Sure she ate one hell of an RKO on Monday, but if we’ve learned anything, it’s that The Fiend and The Fiend’s accomplices cannot simply be killed. Little Miss Bliss with gold around her waist and hellfire in her hands would be quite the WrestleMania moment.
But who knows? It could be Lana. That’s the best part of the Royal Rumble! We don’t know!
What’s at stake?
A flippin’ title match at WrestleMania, that’s what!
The winner of the Rumble gets their shot at creating a WrestleMania moment to stand the test of time as well as solidify their position within an ever-growing women’s division. No longer is it just the land of the Four Horsewomen! It’s anyone’s game. (Unless one of the four horsewomen win, I guess.)
Of course, even the losers have the chance to be a breakout rumble star. Most eliminated, longest-lasting, craziest save. There is a reason it’s everyone’s favorite PPV. Anything could happen!
Draw your numbers, place your bets and join us back here at 7pm eastern to find out!
