AEW announces signing of Tay Conti

I know wrestling fans never want to talk about AEW’s women’s roster, but in case you’re bored...

The 25 year old Brazilian has a background in martial arts. Conti was in WWE’s developmental system from 2016 until earlier this year, and in addition to occasional appearances on NXT took part in both Mae Young Classic tournaments & the Women’s Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34 during her time with the company.

She debuted for AEW in The Deadly Draw Women’s Tag Tournament this summer, and a storyline with Anna Jay (her partner from the YouTube show) and Dark Order was teased on Dynamite two weeks ago.

Conti’s a solid addition to a roster that’s struggled with injuries, and to get television time. She’s getting some tonight, so maybe things are looking up?
