As noted earlier, Matt Hardy took a scary bump during his match with Sammy Guevara at All Out tonight (Sat., Sept. 5, 2020) at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. It certainly appeared as though he suffered a head injury and after initially calling it off, the match was allowed to continue.
His wife, Reby, watching from home with the entire Hardy family, saw this and was not happy about it:
Let me be absolutely fucking clear.

There is NOTHING entertaining about a concussion. Shame on everyone in that goddamn building. pic.twitter.com/ujdOU9Z60I
That sure makes it sound like she’s none too pleased Hardy was allowed to continue the match, even if he didn’t take any more punishment after the table spot. Pro Wrestling Sheet reports an insured stunt person was brought in to run both of them through the spot multiple times prior to the show. Unfortunately, accidents happen.
Sheet also reported Hardy was taken to the hospital after the match.
We’ll pass along any updates on his condition just as soon as they become available.
