All Elite Wrestling (AEW) returns to pay-per-view (PPV) TONIGHT (Sat., Sept. 5, 2020) with All Out. The show comes our way from Daily’s Plaza in Jacksonville.

A pre-show, The Buy In, will stream live and free starting at 7:00 p.m. Eastern / 4:00 p.m. Pacific on All Elite’s YouTube channel and B/R Live.

The main card is available on B/R Live and via cable & satellite providers in the U.S. & Canada for $49.99, and on Fite.tv everywhere else for $19.99.

If there is a tear on my face, it makes me shiver to the bones. It shakes me, babe, it’s just a heartache that got in my eye. And you know I never cry, or at least not when I liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

Joey Janela vs. Serpentico

Janela attacking out the gates, lariats and elbows, fired up while Sonny Kiss watches from the stage. Dumping Serpentico out of the ring, following after him, back body drop on the floor! Back inside, up top, Luther takes Sonny out and Joey is distracted long enough for Serpentico to knock him to the floor!

Whip puts Janela into the barricade and knocks him over, back inside, the Bad Boy cuts him off with a boot but eats a flapjack right after for one! Back outside, Serpentico runs interference to keep referee Rick Knox distracted while Luther works Janela over! Back in, laying Joey out, headed up top, fakeout into a standing stomp!

Janela fired up, forearms into the corner, whip across, charge in, sidestep, knee connects from the apron and Serpentico follows it up with a slingshot splash! Still just a one-count, he goes up top for a senton atomico but Joey gets the knees up! Death Valley Driver sets up the Blue Thunder Driver... SO CLOSE!

Janela off the top with a moonsault... NOBODY HOME! Serpentico rolls him through, superkick into a basement DDT... NOPE! Up top again, the Bad Boy cuts him off with a Shotei, elbow in the corner, climbing up after him. Jockeying for position... AVALANCHE FISHERMAN BUSTER CAN’T PUT SERPENTICO DOWN!

Luther running interference, Joey takes him out with a dropkick, Serpentico goes striking but Janela comes off the ropes with a lariat! Circling, Joey up top...

Dark Order (Alex Reynolds & John Silver) vs. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen)

Kassidy and Silver to start, collar and elbow, light mat grappling in the feeling out. Tag team action intensifies, Quen and Reynolds flying around on each other and Private Party develop an advantage. Alex gets away, tag made, Silver powerbombs Isiah into his own partner and gets a nearfall out of it!

Working Kassidy’s back over, keeping him isolated for a long while but Quen comes in hot and clears house! Big boot into a springboard moonsault... REYNOLDS MAKES THE SAVE! Silly String blocked and countered, boot to the back of the head, Silver gets Marq up, spin-out Argentine powerbomb... MARQ QUEN KICKS OUT!

Back and forth, Private Party up top for dives but the Dark Order block! Elbow into enzuigiri into Stunner into German into jackknife pin... SOMEHOW THAT’S NOT ENOUGH! Marq with a Pele kick, tag made, boot up on the charge, boots, Quen leaps...

Private Party win by pinfall with Gin & Juice on John Silver.


The main show begins with commentary running the card down.

“Big Swole” Aerial Monrore vs. Dr. Britt Baker, DMD (Tooth & Nail Match)

Big Swole rolls up in a car with a referee and walks into the office, taking care of Rebel in the lobby in short order. She stalks the halls looking for Baker, who is ready to go and in her gear, evading Monroe’s gaze. Aerial finds herself in a room, opening a cupboard full of toy teeth, and Britt rolls up behind her to smash her diploma over her head!

Beating her down, powering up a dental drill briefly before trying to yank her teeth! Big Swole nails her over the head with a metal tray and Rebel rolls up behind her to distract her with the spigot. Fighting outside, beating Baker with a wet floor sign and wheelchairing her into a pile of boxes!

Rebel comes from behind again and throws Monroe onto the golf cart, where Britt joins her and they brawl back and forth. Baker on the roof, basement superkick, drawing her up, front chancery... DDT ON TOP OF THE GOLF CART! They try to put Big Swole in the dumpseter but she blocks and beats Britt down! She dumps Rebel into the dumpster!

Baker attacks from behind with a crutch and runs back inside as Monroe gives chase. Back in the office, Aerial smashes her face into a sink and rolls an office chair into her. Front chancery, blocked, swinging neckbreaker... NOPE! Trading strikes in the hallway, Monroe with a vicious pump kick... NOT ENOUGH!

Brawling into an exam room, Britt has a power drill and straddles Big Swole, but she manages to dodge and the drill goes into the exam chair! Baker calling for Rebel, she brings a syringe, but Aerial blocks and Britt stabs herself in the thigh with it! Monrole grabs a diploma, gives it to Rebel... DIRTY DANCING THROUGH THE DIPLOMA!

Dr. Baker’s leg is asleep from the syringe... DIRTY DANCING! Big Swole puts the nitrous mask on her... SHE’S OUT!

“Big Swole” Aerial Monroe wins by referee stoppage, knocking Dr. Baker out with nitrous.


Jurassic Express (“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry & Luchasaurus) vs. Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)

Nick and Perry to start, right into the lucha libe, trading arm drags and nearfalls. Tags made, Luchasaurus wipes Matt out with a roundhouse kick, standing shooting star press from Jungle Boy and they clear the Young Bucks out of the ring after! Back inside, Luchasaurus lays him out with a kick again and both men make tags.

Jungle Boy catches him into a full nelson, Tail Whip sets up a reverse STO... only two! Nick dodging kicks, tag made, Matt into the corner and then under, sidestep, hit the dinosaur with an enzuigiri and then a dropkick! Tag made, double dropkicks, high knee in the corner, bulldog / dropkick combo for one!

Luchasaurus powerbombs one Buck into the other and tags Perry in! Off the ropes, suicide headscissors puts Nick into the stage and he follows it up with a springboard DDT attempt that gets reversed into the rolling northern lights! Hung up in the ropes, Jack clatters to the floor and Matt follows after to hit more northern lights on the floor and over the barricade!

Marko Stunt helps Jungle Boy beat the count, Nick locks him down with a grounded front chancery. Bucks continuing to work Perry over, clearing the apron to block the tag, but soon enough Jack hits a lariat and the path is clear! Tag made, Luchasaurus running roughshod, double lariats, the Bucks kick him down but he sits right up!

Kip-up, back handspring, crescent kick, roundhouse, goozle into the chokeslam on Matt and then he chokeslams Nick into Matt! Standing shooting star press... NICK MAKES THE SAVE! Cross chop into punches, Matt fired up but Luchasaurus counters with a vicious headbutt! Nick trips him up, Jungle Boy dives on him, dinosaur man passes Matt to the floor, moonsault off the apron takes both Bucks out!

Tag made, Nick tags also, dinosaur forearm, Jack over the ropes... COUNTER POWERBOMB INTO THE APRON! FLIP PILEDRIVER ON LUCHASAURUS! MATT SUPERKICKS MARKO STUNT ON THE FLOOR! Electric chair on Perry, Penalty Kick off the apron knocks him to the floor! Back inside, tight nearfall, dodge the BTE Trigger, malfunction at the Superkick Party, Luchasaurus blocks the Meltzer Driver, chokeslam plants Nick!

Poison Frankensteiner on Matt, Extinction-Level Event... NICK JACKSON MAKES THE SAVE! Action to the floor... LUCHASAURUS SPLASH OFF THE TOP AND INTO THE CROWD! Jungle Boy in the ring, Matt with a superkick... SO CLOSE! SUPERKICK PARTY! JUNGLE BOY KICKS OUT! Wrists clutched...

Brawling chaos to start, as is time-honored tradition. Pepper hits a fisherman neckbreaker on the Fallen Angel, working him over with Jake, Daniels hits a tornado DDT! Kingston’s boys working together to eliminate Beretta but he holds firm and the countdown timer ticks...

Kazarian, Hobbs, Taylor, and Proud-N-Powerful are our second group!

PNP take Chuck out with a collapsible baton before he can get in the ring and Trent dives on them to save his buddy! Parks gets eliminated, Will is ready to dump Fenix but he can’t do it! Hager eliminates Daniels somewhere in there, the countdown timer ticks.

Group three is Billy Gunn, Penta, Starks, Cage, and Allin!

Brian immediately eliminates Billy with a press slam! Darby wreaking havoc with the skateboard, Yoshi Tonic takes Ricky out! Darby eliminates Rey Fenix! Best Friends working Starks over, snap zoom hug, PNP dump Taylor and he’s eliminated! Inner Circle working Kazarian over, the countdown timer ticks...

Group four is Spears (who briefly joins commentary before entering the match), Kingston, Williams, Kiss, and Archer.

Lance wipes a bunch of dudes out with a crossbody, Sonny eliminates Hager but Cage immediately eliminates her in turn! Santana off the ropes and Trent low-bridges him to eliminate him! Back body drop puts Ortiz on the apron but Archer comes over and picks Beretta up, dumping him to the floor and eliminating him before knocking Ortiz out as well.

The countdown timer ticks...

NUMBER 21 IS MATT SYDAL!

Sydal goes up top and slips, crashing to the mat, Penta gets eliminated somewhere in there, Matt working the Butcher over but Cage hits a pumphandle slam on him! Big moves on a bunch of guys, Kingston from behind, standing switch into a German suplex! Archer with a back elbow but the Machine drops him with a lariat!

Darby ducks, Cage takes Starks out with a lariat and Allin is able to eliminate him as a result! The Machine with elbows from behind, fallaway slam and Ricky pulls Darby out underneath the bottom rope and puts him into the ringpost before getting a body bag out from under the ring! He loads Allin into the bag with a bunch of thumbtacks and elminates him with a slam over the ropes!

Pop-up Meteora from Sydal on Cage, getting into it with Spears, kicking him to the apron, roundhouse kick, double stomp and Shawn is eliminated! Sydal leapfrogging over Hobbs but he gets spinebustered! Turning to face Archer, Will goes right at it but gets pounced into the ropes! Monsters trading forearms, Cage superkicks Hobbs to the apron, off the ropes, headscissors puts Archer onto the second rope!

Will suplexes the Machine to the apron, trading forearms... LANCE ARCHER ELIMINATES BOTH OF THEM WITH ONE DROPKICK! Down to Archer, Kingston, Williams, and Sydal, trading forearms, Butcher getting into it with Lance and hitting a big crossbody! Trying to eliminate Sydal, Archer helps Matt eliminate Williams, powerbomb lift, Kingston from behind but Sydal hits a DDT off Lance’s shoulders!

Eddie hiding on the apron, Archer hits Blackout and puts Sydal on the apron, where Eddie blasts him to the floor to eliminate him! Low bridging Lance, fighting on the apron, up top, Butcher and Jake the Snake getting involved, opening the snake back, Eddie kicks at him, the Blade comes back and Eddie bits Archer’s ear!

Right hand, the Murderhawk Monster shrugs it off, again Jake with the snake...

Lance Archer wins, last eliminating Eddie Kingston by chokeslamming him to the floor to become #1 contender to the AEW World Championship.


Matt Hardy vs. Sammy Guevara (Broken Rules Match)

The match is taking place on the football field, and Hardy demands Guevara come face his deletion like a man, which he does, riding a golf cart. Matt sidesteps and pulls Sammy out of the cart, throwing him into a trash can and over a picnic table! On top of the table... DDT INTO THE TABLE!

On top of a scissors lift, raising it up, Side Effect blocked... GUEVARA SPEARS MATT OFF THE LIFT AND THROUGH A TABLE! Referee Aubrey Edwards counts but Hardy gets up and beats the count! But Guevara has to drag him along, so Edwards calls for a medic and calls the match.

We get a bell but Matt seems intent on continuing to fight, so I guess it’s still happening. Sammy heads back towards the ringside area, Hardy follows, and we’re informed there must be a winner as Matt hits a DDT on the concrete! Brawling into the production area, climbing the scaffolding... HARDY KNOCKS GUEVARA OFF THE SCAFFOLDING AND PUTS HIM THROUGH THE STAGE!

Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Thunder Rosa (AEW World Women’s Championship)

Rosa right at it, Shida with a triangle choke, counter powerbomb, looking for an ankle lock but the champ gets the ropes to break! Hikaru with a wristlock, roll through, Thunder ducks a knee, off the ropes, duck an elbow, whip to the corner, up and over, front kick and forearms from the challenger! Shida giving her right back with forearms, off the ropes, Frankensteiner connects, stereo dropkicks, nose-to-nose for stalemate!

Elbows against the ropes, kicks in the corner, double chop across Hikaru’s back, snapmare into a shoot kick to the back. Shida rams her into the corner, Rosa turns her around, chops, whip into the corner, strikes, whip reversed, tilt-a-whirl backbreaker from the champ! Action to the floor, Hikaru with the running knee, going under the ring for a steel chair and setting it up, but Thunder does a step-up knee off the chair!

Bow-and-arrow over the post, elbows to the spine, and a big boot hammers Rosa’s advantage home! Back inside, cover for two, Oklahoma Stampede into a backbreaker! Off the ropes, duck the lariat, Shida with a sleeper hold! She falls back, bodyscissors applied, Rosa reverses out of it into an inverted surfboard! Standing up, rocking horse, walking her into the corner and ramming her head into the turnbuckles a few times!

Dragging Hikaru back to the center of the ring, off the ropes, double leg drop but Shida stands up looking for the Stretch Muffler! Rosa gets right away, hoisting her up, champion slips out and lands a forearm, catches a roundhouse, Stretch Muffler countered into a Frankensteiner! Off the ropes, big knee lift from the champ, straight suplex, only two!

Going for the Falcon Arrow, reversed into a pin for two, sleeper hold on the champ. Back her into the corner, throw her into the turnbuckles, charging in, corner clothesline, double knees in the corner! Off the ropes, wicked dropkick puts Shida through to the stage! Fireman’s carry on the stage, Hikaru slips out and puts her into the post, hooking her, Rosa reverses... DEATH VALLEY DRIVER ON THE APRON!

Back inside, Ode to Jim Breaks applied, Shida out of it, jockeying for position in the corner, superplex! Rosa fired up, Hikaru low-bridges her, on the middle rope.... METEORA ON THE STAGE! Back inside, Thunder recovers quickly, lights her up with strikes, German suplex, enzuigiri! Shida with the Falcon Arrow... OUT AT ONE!

Hikaru not really sure what to do, slam, reversed to a pin for two and Shida’s got the Stretch Muffler! Looking to trap the arms but Rosa gets the ropes for the break! Lungblower follows it up, cover... NO GOOD! Forearms from Shida, cover for two, fireman’s carry into a backbreaker for another nearfall!

Off the ropes...

Hikaru Shida wins by pinfall with the sliding knee to retain the AEW World Women’s Championship.


Kip Sabian is interviewed backstage with a huge announcement.

Penelope Ford spills the beans, they’re getting married! And their wedding is going to be all out, live on Dynamite! But before the wedding comes the bachelor party, and that means he needs a best man, and he needs to fit certain criteria, and he’s going to make that announcement on this week’s episode of Dynamite.

Dark Order (Mr. Brodie Lee, Colt Cabana, Evil Uno, & Stu Grayson) vs. Matt Cardona, Natural Nightmares (Dustin Rhodes & QT Marshall), & Scorpio Sky

All-out chaos to start, soon enough it’s down to Lee and Rhodes. Whip hard into the ropes, action to the floor and they trade wicked chops on the floor. Back inside, Uno swaps out but the Natural Nightmares cut him off and a babyface control segment ensues, working him over at length. Evil bails, out and back in and they get Marshall isolated in the corner.

Dark Order heat segment, QT gets a reverse STO on Grayson and the path is clear, but Uno cuts him off and bites his fingers! Marshall rolls through and tags Cardona in! Matt cleaning house, Cabana legal too, knees up, missile dropkick connects, charging forearm into corner forearms, back body drop for Grayson... BROSKI BOOT ON COLT BUT LEE PUTS HIS FOOT ON THE ROPES!

Facebuster, Evil and Stu low-bridge Cardona, Brodie draws him up and throws him back inside, offering him up to Cabana. Cover for two, reverse chinlock applied, tag to Grayson. Putting Matt on the apron, slingshot senton atomico on the apron, back inside for a nearfall! Working him over, tagging Mr. Brodie in, OG Dark Order follow, Chasing the Dragon... NOPE!

Cardona counters a suplex with a neckbreaker, tags made and Rhodes comes in to light Grayson up! Drop down slap, Manhattan Drop, running bulldog! Snap scoop powerslam to an interfering Uno, catching Stu with another Manhattan Drop, powerslam, flip piledriver on Colt Cabana! Lee in with a superkick, Colt falls into a tag to Sky!

Anna Jay from behind, Brandi Rhodes takes her out with a pump kick, Scorpio off the ropes, satellite tijeras puts Brodie on the floor! Sky clapping, off the ropes, Stu cuts him off but he manages to put him down with a hip toss and the TKO... UNO BREAKS IT UP! Cardona in with Radio Silence, knees up, another Radio Silence and he’s fired up!

Off the ropes, Marshall with a blind tag, tope con giro from Cardona! Back inside, Radio Silence countered with a powerbomb and QT dropkicks Brodie out of the ring! Cabana tags in, Flying Asshole sends him out of the ring, Marshall with a tope of his own! Back inside, calling for the Diamond Cutter but Grayson blocks!

Assisted powerbomb, tossing him into a Truck Stop, Colt off the top with a splash... MARSHALL KICKS OUT! Dustin and Brodie legal, a big lariat takes Rhodes out, tag to Cabana, up top, moonsault... NOBODY’S HOME! Dustin right on him...

Matt Cardona, Natural Nightmares, & Scorpio Sky win by pinfall with a schoolboy from Dustin Rhodes on Colt Cabana.

Post-match, Mr. Brodie Lee throws a tantrum, smashing chairs into the barricade and shoving his boys around. He berates Colt Cabana for losing the match and storms off.

Dustin Rhodes is interviewed about his win and he’s very excited about it, dedicating the match to Cody Rhodes. Tony Schiavone informs him that he’s got a TNT Championship match on Wednesday, and he gets choked up, saying it’s been a long time since he’s had a chance to put gold around his waist. He thanks Tony Khan for the opportunity and says he’s coming for Lee’s blood and hell is coming with him.


“Hangman” Adam Page & Kenny Omega (c) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) (AEW World Tag Team Championship)

Wheeler and Omega to start, but Page wants Kenny to trust him and let him start. Omega cedes the floor, collar and elbow, Cash takes him in the corner and breaks clean, offering a handshake. Hangman isn’t taking it and he hammers Wheeler with punches! Fighting Harwood off, Kenny has to come in and pull him away and the champions nearly get into a shoving match with each other!

Back on the same page, hitting chops on Cash, stereo chops knock him down as referee Paul Turner counts and Kenny takes the double high five! Page tags in, continuing to work Wheeler over, but soon enough FTR turn the tide and it’s Hangman that’s on the outside looking in. The heat segment rolls on, targeting Page’s midsection again and again.

Adam gets a small package for way more than a three but referee Paul Turner is occupied with Wheeler in the corner and no count! To the floor, Hangman bounces off the apron and lariats Dax before coming in for the tag! Omega with axehandles, Cash cuts him off with a boot but gets dropped for two! Knocking Harwood out of the ring, fireman’s carry, Finlay Roll!

Springboard moonsault... NO GOOD! Fired up, off the ropes... TOPE CON GIRO! Back inside, missile dropkick for two, Omega looking for the Dr. Wily Bomb but Cash blocks and tags out. Leapfrog, Dax catches him with a Tenryu Powerbomb! Roll-through, bridging German suplex into a jackknife pin... NOPE! Page tags in, charging strikes to a stacked-up FTR!

Assisted German suplex to Harwood, pop-up Tenryu Powerbomb on Wheeler, V-Trigger to the back of the head... SO CLOSE HE CAN TASTE IT! Cash puts Kenny up top, climbs up to join him, jockeying for position, Cash keeps Turner distracted and Dax crotches Omega before making the tag. Climbing up after him, Hangman trying to make the save, Wheeler DDTs him on the apron, Dax with a superplex, Cash off the top... OMEGA KICKS OUT!

Goodnight Express blocked, Wheeler with a brainbuster on Kenny! Hangman with a sliding lariat, Cash hits a tornado DDT, Omega floats over, Poison Frankensteiner! Underhooks... JAY DRILLER BUT WHEELER KICKS OUT! Off the ropes, V-Trigger, electric chair, Cash slips out, to the corner, sidestep, Dax tags in, V-Trigger into the empty turnbuckle, dragon screw in the ropes!

Another dragon screw in the ring, Harwood crosses the legs, Trailer Hitch! Kenny gets the ropes to force the break! Keeping the pressure up, elbow drops to the knee, toehold applied, Omega gets away and takes a breather on the floor, hobbling along the barricade. Hangman comes to check on him, but referee Paul Turner sends him back to his corner.

Wheeler stalking, Harwood on the other side and Dax posts his knee! Wrenching the knee over the ropes, but he gets a pair of Dragon suplexes in! Harwood blocks, steps over, Kenny kicks him away and Dax knocks Page off the apron! Both men down and out, Omega wants the tag but nobody’s there so he sidesteps and Harwood hits the turnbuckle hard!

Hangman back up, tag made, house afire, boot, springboard lariat, Wheeler off the top, Page catches him into a fallaway slam and hits a plancha on Dax! Low bridge puts Cash on the floor, Adam heads up top... SENTON ATOMICO OFF THE TOP AND TO THE FLOOR TO TAKE FTR OUT! Back inside, FTR stabilize, tornado DDT blocked, waistlock, standing switch, another and Harwood hits a lariat from the apron for two!

FTR up top... DOUBLE DIVING HEADBUTTS BUT OMEGA MAKES THE SAVE! Kenny and Dax trading strikes on the apron, overhead elbow, Omega lifts him up, back and forth, over the ropes, Wheeler dives over, sunset flip powerbomb / bulldog combo to the floor! Back inside, Wheeler misses a splash, Page to his feet, Cash with an electric chair and the tag.

Harwood off the top... elevated bulldog gets two! Hangman up top with him... MOONSAULT FALLAWAY SLAM CAN’T KEEP WHEELER DOWN! Setting him up for Last Call, Cash dodges, V-Trigger takes Page out and Wheeler takes Omega out with a chop block! Tag to Dax, piledriver lift, Mindbreaker... HANGMAN PAGE DIGS DEEP AND FINDS THE WHEREWITHAL TO KICK OUT!

FTR get him up again, fending Omega off...

FTR win by pinfall with Mindbreaker on “Hangman” Adam Page to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Post-match, the former champs are left alone in the ring.

Kenny Omega has a folding end table in his hands while Page recovers. He throws it aside and walks out, leaving Page writhing on the mat.

The camera follows Omega as he goes backstage and tells the Bucks he did everything he can and he’s done. They leave together and Kenny arrives at a car, telling them you can’t go backwards, only forwards, and they do not get in with him as he drives off.


Chris Jericho is interviewed backstage.

He says the past fourteen weeks haven’t been a feud or a program, but an experiment to see if he could make Orange Cassidy into a legit main event draw, and after everything, he can honestly tell you that tonight, Orange is a legit main event draw here in AEW, and you can all thank him for that.

But more than that, tonight he’s gonna find out that Le Champion makes dreams come true and he also ends them, and tonight the Orange Cassidy experiment ends.

Chris Jericho vs. Orange Cassidy (Mimosa Mayhem Match)

Cassidy charges right in and Jericho catches him with the Codebreaker... NOPE! Mounted punches, back suplex, more punches, chops in the corner. Orange to the outside, he stops himself from falling in the vat and Y2J follows after, breaking a plastic tray over his head! Slugging it out over the vat, both men stay in the fight, Orange going for a Frankensteiner but Chris counters with a powerbomb!

Holding on... POWERBOMB THROUGH THE TABLE! Y2J trying to hold Cassidy’s face in the mimosa but he fights out! Floyd in hand, Jericho stalks... ORANGE SUPERKICKS HIM! Back inside, trading strikes, Cassidy with a nearfall off a victory roll, Michinoku Driver follows it up... NOPE! Walls of Jericho applied, Orange crawling for safety, he’s got a glass and dips it in the mimosa as Y2J pulls him back inside.

Turning, he splashes it in Jericho’s face to force the break! Small package... NOPE! Superman Punch connects, he throws Y2J out of the ring and his foot goes in the vat but he is not submerged and the match continues! Cassidy up top, trading shots, dodge a press slam and smash Chris’ face into the turnbuckles!

Up in the turnbuckles, jockeying for position, avalanche Frankensteiner sets Jericho up for the Penalty Kick! Off the ropes, satellite DDT connects... NOT ENOUGH! Codebreaker connects but Orange kicks out! Hoisting Cassidy up, he slips out, Jericho changes gears, thinking Razor’s Edge into the vat but Orange slips out again!

Superman Punch staggers Y2J, off the ropes...

Orange Cassidy wins, knocking Chris Jericho into the vat of mimosa and submerging him with a Superman Punch.

Jon Moxley (c) vs. Maxwell Jacob Friedman (AEW World Championship)

Mat grappling to start, back and forth in a waistlock, Friedman with a leg pick, stalemate. Front chancery, shoot the half, headlock takeover. Moxley out with elbows, another headlock takeover, wrenching it in, shot off, scoop and a slam! Off the ropes, elbow drop misses, Max with another headlock takeover!

Prying his hands loose near the ropes, MJF goes to sucker punch Mox but he sees it coming and chops him to the floor! Jon going outside, Friedman refuses to follow, they end up switching positions and Moxley dives on him! Crotching him over the barricade, taking him off it with a lariat, the champion cool and in control as he squares up with Wardlow.

Using Maxwell to knock the barricade over, wishboning his fingers, leading to scream for referee Bryce Remsburg, but all he’s willing to do is admonish Moxley that he has to win the match in the ring. Back inside, schoolboy for one, MJF grabs the arm but Mox forearms his way out of it. In the corner, inverted facelock, Jon slips out, sleeper hold applied, Hart/Piper finish reversal, no dice!

Cross armbar applied, Mox keeps his hands clasped and counters into a cover for two. Another cover, overhead elbows stagger Friedman. Gourdbuster hangs MJF over the top rope but he takes Moxley off the apron with a wicked arm wringer! Back inside, stomping the injured elbow, top wristlock applied, Jon stands up, elbows to the face, Max gets a slam for two.

Back to the top wristlock, putting Moxley hard into the corner with the original Irish Whip and blasting him to the floor after! Jon recovers, putting MJF into the apron and then catapulting him into the ringpost! Back inside, Mox doing the “I gotta put my shoulder back in joint” deal as Max rises up to reveal the crimson mask!

One-armed Moxley gets a nearfall, thinking Gotch Piledriver but his arm gives out and Friedman rolls to the floor! Jon pulls him out and hits a Bossman Slam on the floor! Back inside, prying at his arm again but Mox turns him around, Gotch Piledriver... NOPE! Biting at MJF’s forehead, face and chest covered in his challenger’s blood as he sets him up top!

Climbing up after him, Max bites his hand in return and cuts him off... DIVING STOMP TO THE ELBOW! Standing armbar applied, Moxley with right hands, they trade forearms staggered but still standing, giving way to palm strikes, MJF ducks a lariat, kick to the knee, mule kick to the face, off the ropes and the champion catches him with a forearm and a German suplex!

Lariat follows it up, falling into a cover... NOT ENOUGH! Moxley dragging himself to his feet, gasping but steel in his eyes, pounding his chest like a primordial god of war, beckoning MJF to his feet. Friedman spits in his face! Underhooks... REMSBURG REMINDS HIM PARADIGM SHIFT IS BANNED AND MAX TAKES HIM DOWN INTO SALT OF THE EARTH!

Wrenching back, Mox crawling and desperate, reaching as MJF wrenches his fingers and drags him into position for an inverted cross armbar... JON MOXLEY GETS A FOOT ON THE ROPES! Yanking his arm over the ropes, Heatseeker... MOXLEY WILL NOT STAY DOWN! Looking for another one, flipping double birds to the fans but Mox hangs onto him... AIR RAID CRASH! STILL NO!

Forehead to forehead, on their knees and jawing at each other, trading palm strikes and forearms, headbutts, cravate knee lifts from the champion into headbutts, off the ropes and MJF pulls Bryce in to block! Poking Jon’s eye, hook the arms, backslide... NOPE! Jockeying for position, Mox gets a sleeper hold as the blood pours down Max’s face!

Again he grabs Bryce, low blow... ONLY TWO! Inverted facelock, Friedman hits Cross Rhodes... MOX KICKS OUT! Wardlow up on the apron, he throws the ring in but Moxley sees it... PARADIGM SHIFT WHILE THE REFEREE’S BACK IS TURNED! IT’S OVER!

Jon Moxley wins by pinfall with Paradigm Shift to retain the AEW World Championship.

Post-match, Mox gives a picture perfect Yano shrug as Lance Archer looks on. He flips Archer and Jake Roberts the bird.
