Jey Uso has no chance of winning at Clash of Champions, does he?

One of the marquee matches at tonight’s (Sun., Sept. 27, 2020) WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view is the Universal championship match pitting family vs. family in Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso. The two have done a fantastic job of generating as much interest as they possibly can, considering the fact that, well, it seems unlikely (that’s as nice as I can be about it) that Jey has a chance in hell of actually winning the match.

He cut a strong promo on the go home episode of Friday Night SmackDown putting over the fact that he’s a twin who is often confused for his brother and winning the Universal championship would go a long way towards changing that. There was some real emotion in his delivery, and Reigns acted as the perfect foil, responding by simply being better all around.

He’s the top guy, he’s the one who is taking care of the family, and Jey simply cannot take his spot because he’s just not equipped to handle it.

It’s a good story, one WWE managed not to screw up while Reigns and Uso made the absolute most of it from facials to promos and everything in between.

Again, though, how interesting can it be if there’s no real chance that Jey is going to win?

Maybe I’m wrong, though. Perhaps you feel differently. Let us know in the poll below and be sure to tune in to find out at Clash of Champions tonight. Follow along right here.
