Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that — rumors. None of this has been confirmed as fact, it’s just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track rumor accuracy in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back you can find here. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the plan is to make the dynamic between Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman “as different as possible” from Heyman and Brock Lesnar.
  • There are signs Randy Orton could be winning the WWE championship from Drew McIntyre at Clash of Champions, says the WON.
  • They also say the idea with Mandy Rose and Otis’ is they will stay in their relationship but it will be long distance now.
  • Will Hobbs was signed to AEW because Tony Khan was impressed with him after he was brought in to be an enhancement talent, per the Observer.
