AEW books the cards for both next week’s episodes of Dynamite

Thanks to the unpredictability of the NBA playoffs schedule, Dynamite was back in its regular Wednesday spot on the TNT schedule this week. That means that in addition to next Wednesday’s episode, the one hour special they had been planning for tonight when they were going to be pre-empted to tomorrow by a Lakers/Clippers game that will now never happen will now air next Tuesday.

That show, Late Night Dynamite, will run after game 3 of the Lakers/Nuggets Western Conference Final series and the Inside The NBA post-show on Sept. 22. The big draws are Matt Sydal’s first singles match with AEW, a showdown between Brandi Rhodes and her Dark Order nemesis, and Chris Jericho on commentary.

Here are the matches for next Tuesday’s one hour show:

  • Scorpio Sky vs. Ben Carter
  • Brandi Rhodes vs. Anna Jay
  • Matt Sydal vs. Shawn Spears

Then on Sept. 23, we’ll have a regular two hour Dynamite. That will be headlined by a TNT title tilt, and a tag matches featuring the men’s and women’s champions and their upcoming or prospective challengers.

  • Jon Moxley, Will Hobbs & Darby Allin vs. Lance Archer, Ricky Starks & Brian Cage
  • Brodie Lee (c) vs. Orange Cassidy for the TNT championship
  • Hikaru Shida & Thunder Rosa vs. Diamante & Ivelisse
  • Chris Jericho to appear

Ready for a double dose of Dynamite?
