Kenny Omega insists he’s no longer interested in tag team wrestling

Fresh off losing the AEW tag titles at All Out 2020, Hangman Page competed in the singles division on Dynamite tonight (Sept. 16) in a bout against Frankie Kazarian. Page’s tag partner, Kenny Omega, was on commentary for this bout.

Throughout the match, Omega insisted that he’s not focused on tag team wrestling with Page anymore. Kenny wasn’t interested in discussing the fact that he and Page are currently the top ranked contenders for FTR’s AEW tag titles. He even seemed to enjoy a near fall where Hangman almost took the loss.

Page and Kazarian had a great match that was eventually won by Page. Afterwards, Omega departed from the commentary table and headed backstage, instead of coming down to the ring to celebrate with his partner.

Hangman seemed a bit disappointed at first, but then grabbed an alcoholic beverage and celebrated his win by himself.

Where do you think the relationship between Omega and Page is going next?
