Hangman Page should have joined The Dark Order

Tonight’s (Aug. 5) episode of Dynamite kicked off with a 12-man tag team match. The Young Bucks, FTR, Kenny Omega, and Hangman Page battled it out against Mr. Brodie, Colt Cabana, and The Dark Order.

This one was fast and furious from the outset, as you might expect. For example, here are the babyfaces cleaning house:

But there’s a reason why Dax Harwood doesn’t normally wrestle matches at this faster pace. He was soon hobbled and sent limping away to the back, with help from Cash Wheeler and Hangman Page. With three of the babyfaces gone, the tide immediately turned. The heels slowed things down and controlled the ring for quite a while.

Page eventually returned and damn near cleared all the heels out of the ring by himself.

He then took out five of the heels on the outside with a moonsault while Brodie Lee passively looked on.

But all it took was one miscue to doom the good guys. Page and Omega went for their Last Call combo finish. Brodie Lee ducked Page’s lariat, Omega was yanked from the ring, and Mr. Brodie put Page away with the discus lariat. Mr. Brodie rubbed salt in the wound by telling Page that he should have joined The Dark Order when he had the chance, referring back to a recent segment where Page rejected their recruitment attempt.

The bottom line is that FTR never returned to the ring, and the babyfaces just couldn’t overcome the numbers disadvantage after that point.
