Rumor Roundup (Aug. 3, 2020): WWE draft plans, SummerSlam update, NXT signings, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Rumors for the Day:

  • According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the current plan for the next WWE draft is in October.
  • Fightful said WWE originally wanted it in August before moving it around from September to October and back around again.
  • WrestleVotes is hinting that WWE may have found a spot in the Northeast to host SummerSlam outdoors with limited fans.
  • Sportskeeda says WWE has signed Anthony Greene to an NXT contract and more Evolve talent could be on the way in the near future.
  • Per PW Insider, MLW will likely be preempted on BeIN Sport in the coming weeks and another time slot will likely be announced soon.
