New Japan Pro Wrestling Summer Struggle results: KOPW 2020 first round matches, and more!

New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) are back again with another reduced capacity show for your enjoyment! This week we’ve got a two-fer we’ll be covering for you, with today’s show in Korakuen Hall and this weekend’s big Summer Struggle in Jingu, and like all of New Japan’s other major events, the show will be broadcast worldwide on New Japan's streaming service, NJPW World.

Today’s action takes place in Tokyo’s legendary Korakuen Hall, kicking off at a ripe 5:30AM Eastern / 2:30AM Pacific, and features the first round of the tournament to crown a provisional KOPW 2020 Champion, four stipulation matches that will feed into a finals at Jingu.

Hiroshi Tanahashi, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Kota Ibushi, & Master Wato over Suzuki-gun (DOUKI, Taichi, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, & Zack Sabre, Jr.) by pinfall with High Fly Flow from Tanahashi on DOUKI.
