Ring of Honor is getting back in the groove with the Pure Championship tournament. The 16-man field already had 10 names revealed. Add three more to the list, with two being former ROH champions.
On ROH Week by Week, Quinn McKay announced the addition of Dalton Castle, Kenny King, and Rust Taylor to the Pure tournament. Castle is the most accomplished of the three within ROH. He held the ROH World Championship for 197 days. Castle is also an experienced Greco-Roman wrestler, even winning a New York championship.
Kenny King is a former tag team champ in ROH and a two-time winner of the ROH TV Championship. His reigns as TV king total 140 days combined. King adds prestige to the tournament.
Rust Taylor will be making his ROH debut. Taylor has experience in WWE as a local jobber. He also won various titles in Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, Empire Wrestling Federation, Millennium Pro Wrestling, NWA Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, and West Coast Wrestling Connection. Taylor was ranked #275 in the 2015 PWI 500.
