Although the company has not officially announced as much, the Wrestling Observer reports that three wrestlers have been released by AEW: Jimmy Havoc, Bea Priestley, and Sadie Gibbs.
Havoc was accused of sexual assault as part of the #SpeakingOut movement in June. AEW responded to it by wishing him the best while he received treatment for mental health and substance abuse issues. It was also promised his status within the company would be evaluated upon completion of rehabilitation.
Priestley hasn’t been seen since on AEW programming since March, and has had issues with getting into the country due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Gibbs hasn’t been seen since last year, a tag team match on AEW Dark. She commented on her release with the following:
My journey it’s been one hell of a ride, I never expect it to get easier I just expect my core values and perception to evolve and for me always to find #GRACE within moving forwards. #UNDEFINABLE

Thankyou so much @TonyKhan @AEWrestling for giving me a chance of a life time
