The NWA has been low-key during the coronavirus pandemic, but that hasn’t stopped their women’s champ from getting busy. Thunder Rosa announced that she will defend the title against Lindsay Snow in her own all-women promotion, Mission Pro Wrestling.

There’s two big angles to this news. First, it is badass that Thunder Rosa is taking matters into her own hands to defend NWA gold. She could become the Nick Aldis of the NWA women and put the division on her back. Thunder Rosa is definitely worthy of building around.
Second, there is a new all-women promotion in town. Mission Pro Wrestling will have women in commentary and behind the scenes roles. Robyn Reid has been announced as booker. The promotion is owned by Thunder Rosa, her husband Brian Cervantes, and Jeremiah Wilkerson. As far as I can tell, those are the only men involved. Mission Pro Wrestling could become a valuable place for women to gain experience in all positions and transition into bigger opportunities with the top promotions.
Announced matches for the Hell Hath No Fury card include:
- NWA Women’s Championship: Thunder Rosa vs Lyndsay Snow
- Alex Garcia vs Avery Taylor
- Big Swole vs La Rosa Negra
- Madi Wrenkowski vs Baby D
Other wrestlers associated with the promotion are Holidead, Skye Blue, Jenna Van Muscles, Rok-C, Raychell Rose, Lizzie Thorne, Ali Bama, The Insidious One, Alejandra the Lion, Vert Vixen, Elayna Black, Promise Braxton, and Jenna Lynn.
Hell Hath No Fury is set to take place on Sept. 18 in Buda, Texas, and will be streamed via Title Match Wrestling Network.
