Warhorse came to Dynamite tonight (July 29) weighing 4000 pounds of raw heavy metal and ready to rule some ass. More specifically, he was hoping to defeat Cody Rhodes for the TNT championship.
That didn’t happen, but Warhorse did last longer than the five minutes that Cody predicted he would. Warhorse hurt his leg, and then Cody worked it over enough to put him away with the figure four leglock.
After the match, a couple Dark Order underlings ran into the ring looking to get a piece of Cody and Arn Anderson. That’s when Matt Cardona, formerly known in WWE as Zack Ryder, came out and saved the day.

Cardona was released by WWE over three months ago, and Cody is a close friend of his. It’s not surprising to see that he has now resurfaced in AEW.
