FTR arrived in AEW roughly two months ago, but they have teased that they are not under contract and are open to wrestling in other promotions around the world. Tony Khan even used the fact that they have not signed with AEW to explain why they are not included in AEW’s team rankings despite their undefeated record.
It was finally time to put pen to paper, but FTR made the very interesting decision to bring in Cody’s manager, Arn Anderson, to oversee their contract signing due to his tag wrestling expertise. FTR demanded a Tag Team Appreciation night on the Aug. 12 of Dynamite as part of their terms of agreement.
The official contract signing of FTR with a few unique stipulations and a familiar guest joined the party.
