Last week, AEW announced a women’s team tournament coming up this summer called The Deadly Draw. They provided more details about the tournament tonight (July 29) on Dynamite, including a start date.
The tournament will begin this Monday, Aug. 3, on AEW’s YouTube channel. Eight teams will compete in the tournament, and the teams will be selected in a random draw.
Some of the random drawing began tonight. We found out that Nyla Rose will team up with Ariane Andrew, who you might know better as former Funkadactyl star Cameron in WWE.
Andrew was released by WWE in 2016. She was going to return to the ring earlier this year, but the coronavirus pandemic interrupted her plans.
