The main event of tonight’s (July 22) episode of Dynamite was a tag team match featuring the Inner Circle (Chris Jericho & Jake Hager) against Jurassic Express.
Earlier in the night, Jericho was still wearing the $7,000 jacket that was stained orange by Orange Cassidy last week, and he made it clear that he was going to ruin Cassidy’s career.
Naturally, this threat meant that Freshly Squeezed would play some kind of role in Jericho’s main event tag team match, right?
Nope. What we did get though was the return of Sammy Guevara, who interfered in disguise as Serpentico to help Jericho secure the win. He then unmasked to reveal that the Inner Circle was back in full force.

At this point, Cassidy and the Best Friends did run off the heels, setting up a 5-on-5 match next week (July 29) on Dynamite between the entire Inner Circle against Jurassic Express, Best Friends, and Orange Cassidy.
Guevara was suspended by AEW on June 22 when vile remarks he made about Sasha Banks on a podcast in 2016 surfaced. Tony Khan said that Guevara was suspended indefinitely. Guevara would have to “undergo extensive sensitivity training” before his status with the company would be re-evaluated.
Exactly one month later, it appears that Guevara’s sensitivity training is complete and AEW has welcomed him back, which is what Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes strongly indicated would happen.
