Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Rumors for the Day:

  • An alleged WWE Facebook ad shared by Twitter account WrestleNews365 shows the stipulation for Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre at Extreme Rules will be a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match.
  • WWE is still planning to hold WrestleMania 37 in California next year according to WrestleVotes, but still need the go ahead from government officials on whether or not they’ll be able to. They want that decision by December.
  • On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that Bianca Belair was on Raw as a replacement for Liv Morgan in Ruby Riott’s match with IIconics.
  • In an interview with The Hannibal TV, Raven said he heard “from the grapevine” that Billy Corgan won’t re-start NWA. Raven has a relationship with Corgan from the Smashing Pumpkins’ singer’s old promotion, Resistance Pro.
  • A Tokyo Sports article indicated Kairi Sane will be returning to Japan, with an announcement expected around SummerSlam.
