The main event of night one (July 1) of AEW’s Fyter Fest featured Kenny Omega and Hangman Page defending the tag titles against the Best Friends.
There was no heated blood feud between these two babyface teams, so this match relied heavily on spectacular fast-paced action from beginning to end.
The champs started this one off by reminding everyone why they are the best tag team in pro wrestling.

Omega then took a nasty bump on his head on the outside of the ring.

It actually looked like the Best Friends would pull it out when they executed their Strong Zero finish on Page.

It wasn’t enough, and Page later nailed the Buckshot Lariat to put this one away.
Afterwards, FTR hit the ring and offered beers to the champs, to celebrate the big win. Of course Hangman Page took the drink, because that’s his gimmick.
Omega seemingly accepted FTR’s gesture as well, but then he poured the drink out onto the ring mat.

FTR looked ready to fight at that point, but the Young Bucks came out from the back to prevent any physicality. Hangman Page wasn’t happy at all with his partner’s behavior.
Does this angle make you think that FTR will win tag team gold before facing off with the Young Bucks down the line?
