AEW is gearing up for another big week, and they’ve announced a few things in advance for the June 10 Dynamite... and a surprisingly big name for Dark the night before.
In his first match since defeating Brodie Lee to keep his World title at Double or Nothing, Jon Moxley will be next Tuesday’s online-only show. His opponent wasn’t announced, but Wrestling Observer reports the match has already been taped. Mox is gearing up to defend his belt against Brian Cage at Fyter Fest next month. He had a segment with the challenger and Cage’s manager Taz on Dynamite tonight (June 3).
The other things set up on this week’s Dynamite were for next Wednesday.
- FTR will be in action for the first time as AEW wrestlers. The Butcher & The Blade crashed Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler’s chat with Tony Schiavone tonight, and will be their opponents on the 10th.
- Colt Cabana came up short against Chris Jericho. Colt gets another chance to deal with Inner Circle when he faces Sammy Guevara next week.
- TNT champ Cody’s promise to defend the belt every week means we get to see the American Nightmare vs. Marq Quen of Private Party.
- Orange Cassidy’s run-in with Chris Jericho means he and Best Friends will tangle with Inner Circle’s Santana, Ortiz & Jake Hager in trios action.
