AEW released their latest rankings (June 3, 2020). Let’s check out the movers and shakers.

No changes for the men this week. I don’t anticipate any upsets in the top 4 or with the champs occurring before Fyter Fest, which is scheduled for sometime this Summer. The only change that seems likely for the near future is Brian Cage replacing Darby Allin in the top 5. The question is how many squash matches does Cage need to win before proving his record has more value than Darby’s mediocre 6-4.
Women:

No changes for the women either this week. Big Swole has a big opportunity to make up for lost coronavirus time. She will compete against Nyla Rose tonight on Dynamite. With a win over the Native Beast, Swole could rocket up to #2 next week. I’m hoping that happens so we have fresh blood to challenge Hikaru Shida.
Tag Team:

Jimmy Havoc and Kip Sabian pop into the 4 slot this week after winning a title shot against SCU. The Superbad Death Squad will get their chance at gold against Hangman Page and Kenny Omega tonight on Dynamite. The Dark Order was bounced out of the top 5, presumably due to inactivity. The Young Bucks hang on with their disappointing 2-2 record, even though they haven’t had a tag match in months. That should change pretty soon now that FTR is in town.
Do you agree with AEW’s rankings this week? If not, what would you change?
