Ring of Honor is investigating accusations against its wrestlers

Marty Scurll has been accused of sexual abuse as part of the #SpeakingOut movement. He has since offered two separate statements in response to the allegation.

Earlier this year, Scurll signed with Ring of Honor in what’s reportedly the most lucrative contract in the promotion’s history, and he was promoted to the position of head booker. He’s synonymous with the promotion.

After a few days of silence, Ring of Honor finally released this statement today:

Ring of Honor says they are investigating claims against their wrestlers, they will provide an update when the investigation concludes, and they have a zero tolerance policy for the alleged behavior.

Their statement sounds an awful lot like the one they released two years ago when Jay Lethal was accused of sexual harassment. We’ll have to see if they actually provide an update this time.
