AEW Rankings (June 17, 2020): Penelope Ford is so hot right now

AEW released their latest rankings (June 17, 2020). Let’s check out the movers and shakers.

Men:

AEW

No changes this week for the men. AEW likes to play with the rankings to make big matches appear even bigger before major events. I’m curious if Brian Cage will end up cracking the top 5 prior to his World Championship opportunity against Jon Moxley at Fyter Fest in early July. If so, how high will he rise and who will get the boot?

Women:

AEW

Penelope Ford leapfrogged over both Dr. Britt Baker DMD and Yuka Sakazaki. She is on a hot streak after pinning the champ Hikaru Shida in tag team action last week on Dynamite and also picking up a win on Dark. With all titles being on the line for Fyter Fest, Ford looks like the top prospect to become Shida’s challenger. The big question is how Nyla Rose fits in. Will Ford go on a winning streak to take over the top position or will there be three-way action at Fyter Fest?

Tag Team:

AEW

The Dark Order pair of Evil Uno and Stu Grayson returned to action for a win on Dark. That boosted them up into the 4 slot to replace SCU.

Next week has the possibility for big changes in the tag team rankings. Dynamite will see Hangman Page & Kenny Omega defending the titles against the Natural Nightmares and the Best Friends putting up their #1 contendership against Le Sex Gods, Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara. The Young Bucks will also be in action against Jimmy Havoc & Kip Sabian. Will there by any upsets to overturn the apple cart?

Do you agree with AEW’s rankings this week? If not, what would you change?
