MLW Roundup: Low Ki on Anthology, Hammerstone re-signs, more!

Let’s catch up on this week’s news in MLW and preview Saturday night’s episode of MLW Anthology.

Low Ki on Anthology

The spotlight is on Low Ki for this week’s episode of MLW Anthology. The stories presented will be his relationship with Gary Hart and match against mentor Homicide, as well as his hunt for gold against Shane Strickland.

There is also a bonus of MLW CEO Court Bauer feeling the wrath of the Lone Wolf.

MLW’s weekly program (Fusion and Anthology) airs on beIN SPORTS Saturday nights at 10 pm ET / 7 pm ET. New episodes are posted on YouTube Saturdays at 6:05 pm ET. Fusion is broadcast in over 20 countries.

Alexander Hammerstone re-signs

Good news for fans of tanned beef machines. MLW has locked down Muscle Mountain to a new contract. The re-signing of Alexander Hammerstone was revealed at the end of last week’s episode of MLW Anthology. Hammerman also posted his own thoughts on the matter.

Hammerstone chose to stay in MLW to prove he is one of the top wrestlers in the world. Over the years, he has learned that he wants to test himself against the best in 25 minute clashes. Hammer enjoys the creative freedom in MLW. He has unfinished business in the promotion with a chase for the Heavyweight Championship. This is his opportunity to build a legacy.

That’s a worthy stance from Hammerstone. Instead of going to the security of WWE and being another cog in the machine, he is forging his own path. Forge it he shall with muscles upon muscles and an amazing tan.

Quick hits

If you missed the news yesterday, MLW debuted a new digital series named Pulp Fusion. It is similar, if not the same, as the Roll Call feature that was closing MLW Anthology. The show carries on with current storylines in the form of a promo montage. The latest episode had a reminder that Contra is everywhere. Don’t take my word for it. Ask Josef Samael.

Contra has been busy tampering with MLW contracts. There is speculation that Samael is, “writing new contracts with huge dollar signs attached to them.” I don’t quite understand that tactic. Contra giving themselves raises makes sense. A raise for anyone else? Not so much. That would drive MLW out of business. Perhaps this story is a sign that the Contra Unit will be expanding their wrestling talent signed to the MLW roster. Are there any free agent names you would like to see hail Contra?

In addition to MLW Anthology, MLW is also posting articles shedding light on past tales. CM Punk was featured last week. This week, MLW One-Shot was the focus. The success of One-Shot in 2017 kick-started MLW’s return. I recommend both to learn a little of MLW’s history.

MLW has new t-shirts on the market. Celebrate Hammerstone getting a sweet tan at the beach.

Contra has infiltrated the MLW shop with shirts for Josef Samael and Jacob Fatu.

Samael even posted his quarantine movie list.

That was the start of the fine arts portion of the MLW Roundup. Next is MJF displaying his guitar skills. It looks like MJF has been consuming Exotic Latin Muscle Candy.

We’ll close with dancing from LA Park and Salina de la Renta.

Film, music, dance. Consider that as fulfillment of your daily recommended culture requirement. The MLW Roundup is dismissed.
