Dynamite ended with pandemonium as the locker room emptied to separate the Inner Circle from brawling with Mike Tyson’s posse, which included MMA fighters Henry Cejudo, Vitor Belfort, and Rashad Evans. We don’t know when Le Champion will be able to get his hands on “Iron” Mike, but a replacement has been found for Jericho’s fury.
AEW announced that Jericho will wrestle Colt Cabana on next week’s Dynamite. This match was set up during the end of Dynamite, and also in the aftermath backstage. While being restrained, Jericho pie-faced Cabana, and the two had words.
Backstage, Jericho put the blame on Cabana for holding him back from knocking out Tyson.

That’s a great job of minor storytelling to set up a bout. I noticed their interaction live and thought it was just two veterans goofing around with each other. It turns out that it was all part of a plan. I love it when a plan comes together.
The idea of Jericho vs. Cabana by itself didn’t quite excite me. However, I’m now sold after seeing that little story play out. Jericho is probably still screaming, “Cabana! Cabana! Cabana!” I predict Le Champion goes boom boom on Cabana’s head with the Judas Effect knockout.
Do those encounters make you interested in Jericho vs Cabana?
