The first of Double or Nothing’s co-main events happened in Jacksonville’s Daily Place, and required face mask-wearing security guards to keep World champ Jon Moxley away from The Dark Order’s Mr. Brodie Lee.
Of course, it was the Exalted One (who Jim Ross reminded us hates sneezing) who brought the belt to the ring, since he stole it from Mox a few weeks back.
None of that mattered once the match started, as things got down and dirty early. Mox dove to the outside after an early exchange, but quickly paid for the decision when he was suplexed onto the floor. It wasn’t long before the champ was suplexed onto a piece of the barricade that had been propped up across the permanent railing.

Mox got the better of a striking exchange in the ring, but then took too long setting up his next spot. It almost led to him being powerbombed through the timekeeper’s table, but the champ was able to counter and back drop Lee through it instead.

With the “Holy $#!+” tone set, the battle raged on. The finish started with Mox hitting a Paradigm Shift from the stage steps that put both men through the ramp.

A bloodied Lee managed to emerge and kick out of another of the champ’s finishers in the ring. But after a barrage of strikes to the head, the referee called for the bell when Brodie’s hand dropped while Mox had a sleeper cinched in.
