Big stories coming out of Dynamite (May 13, 2020) were Cody Rhodes ramming his truck to get at Lance Archer, a new #1 contender for the Women’s Championship, Fenix using his ninja skills on Orange Cassidy, and Mike Tyson coming to Double or Nothing on May 23. Fallout from the show includes reaction from Britt Baker, Darby Allin, Orange Cassidy, as well as other goodies.
Alex Marvez caught up with Britt Baker after the women’s four-way. Baker wants to donate all of Kris Statlander’s alien teeth to space science.
.@RealBrittBaker had some harsh post-match words for @callmekrisstat lastnight on Dynamite.

Baker’s initial reaction at the suggestion of coming up short is so perfect. The way she turned her head with that look of disgust made me laugh hard. This promo does a good job explaining why she was more occupied with inflicting pain on Statlander rather than breaking up Hikaru Shida’s winning pin. Baker displays delusional heel logic with a splash of truth.
I’m actually kind of rooting for Baker to win over Statlander. Statlander had her title shot against Nyla Rose and doesn’t need another one so soon, unless the plan is to strap her with the belt. I want Baker to pick up momentum to see how far she can rise with her role model gimmick. Baker vs Rose would be pretty intriguing. Heel vs heel on TV could work in the empty arena environment. AEW wouldn’t have to worry about the fan dynamic for two heels.
Darby Allin provided insight into why he dislikes Taz offering his coaching services.
I quit amateur wrestling once I found skateboarding cause I was sick of people telling me what to do.

So @OfficialTAZ don’t bother talking to me anymore I don’t want to hear it. https://t.co/n3pIfssGXt
What a chump. That is a lame excuse for disrespecting Taz. It sounds like Allin needs a slice of humble pie. A Tazmission might do the trick.

Sabian & Kaz join Darby Allin, Colt Cabana, Orange Cassidy, Fenix, and Scorpio Sky to give us 7 of the 9 competitors.
Pineapple Pete (Suge D) gave it his all against Chris Jericho. Pete’s best wasn’t good enough, but it did earn a pleasant message from Le Champion.
Good try Pete. Now go build off of this once in a lifetime exposure!! https://t.co/BNYjsYXwAB

I wouldn’t mind seeing Suge D return as a member of the Inner Circle. He’s not on their level in the ring, but he could be their chauffeur or the Jerome to Jericho’s Morris Day.

Will you be rooting for Baker or Statlander? What’s your take on Allin’s response to Taz? Who do you want to fill the remaining spots in the Casino Ladder Match?
