Nick Jackson returns to the ring... on BTE?

The Young Bucks’ YouTube series may be the home for AEW stars who live on the West Coast during the pandemic.

The latest edition of The Young Bucks’ long-running YouTube series Being The Elite hit today (Mon., April 6). The episode, entitled “On The BTE Compound” is embedded above.

Manolo will be along to break down anything which might be important for AEW’s ongoing storylines as usual in his Wednesday Rewind feature, but today’s episode features two matches. That seemed noteworthy considering reports All Elite filmed months worth of material in Georgia last week, and only used talent already in the area for those tapings.

So if public health guidelines designed to help fight the spread of the coronavirus prohibit the whole crew from getting back together for Dynamite any time soon, BTE may be your home for any action featuring Matt & Nick Jackson, or SCU, or any of the roster based in Southern California for the foreseeable future.

Even then, matches like this week’s pair pitting The Young Bucks against local talent Team High Risk, and Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian vs. Brandon Cutler & Peter Avalon, might be short-lived. Check out the episode disclaimer:

“We at BTE are fully aware of the gravity of the current situation. At this point in time we are obeying all stay at home orders and following all necessary precautions. At the time of this taping, we followed all guidelines that were in effect at the time, most importantly the limit on gatherings larger than 10 people. Rest assured that all participants of this taping were examined prior to filming and perceived to be healthy enough to participate. As important as we believe entertainment be in this difficult time, we would never risk our health or the health of our family to pursue it. Please enjoy this episode in the safety of your homes, and continue to follow all current health guidelines.”

Next week, SCU is supposed to face Simon Lotto & Steven Andrews of Team High Risk in a “squash match”. Hopefully the filmed that already in case the BTE Compound is shut down.

As long as they keep doing Kenny Omega and Colt Cabana’s Looney Tunes feud, I’ll be happy.
