Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week’s nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the Mar. 30 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday’s Impact & AEW Dark, Dynamite & NXT from Wednesday, NXT UK on April 2, SmackDown on Friday, this week’s MLW Fusion & ROH TV, and any other televised or internet streaming wrestling that aired from Mar. 29 - April 3, 2020.
THIS IS A QUICKER THAN USUAL TURNAROUND DUE TO THE TWO-DAY WRESTLEMANIA, WHICH I DIDN’T WANT TO SPLIT INTO TWO POLLS, SINCE THAT WOULD GIVE PERFORMERS WHO WORK SUNDAY AN EXTRA VOTE WITH WHICH TO RACK UP POINTS. POLL CLOSES, AND BALLOTS ARE CUT OFF, AT 6 P.M. EASTERN ON SAT., APRIL 4.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
Sure is.
- The Man took out her WrestleMania opponent with a steel chair. Her future husband took out his with a microphone.
- Ball-squeezing bros Dan & Drew. That’s it. That’s the bullet point.
- Team Blue was also represented by a Firefly Fun House challenge, and a Goddess handing an Empress a loss.
- Other than that it was all about the non-WWE show on Wednesdays... promos on drones, mental intercoursing via holograms, Vince parody, and successful AAA title defenses.

Quick turnaround, as is always the case come the end of the season. Different this year with the Blue Brand on Friday and two days of ‘Mania though. Anyway... tell us what your favorite performances were from Raw, SmackDown, NXT, AEW, New Japan, Impact, ROH, the world of lucha libre, MLW, the NWA, or the the indies.
We’ll be back Sunday night with special edition for the Showcase of the Immortals, and then a year-end wrap-up (which will include a poll on suggested scoring changes for season eight) during the week. And then the first clean S3 of 2020 - 2021 on Sun., April 12!
Phew!
