The first round of AEW’s TNT championship tournament wrapped up tonight (Apr. 22) on Dynamite with the final two matches.
Darby Allin and Sammy Guevara went at it in the first hour of the show, where Allin survived a pre-match attack to eventually pull out the win with the Last Supper. Of course it wouldn’t be a Darby Allin match if it didn’t include a daredevil dive like this:
.@DarbyAllin went high risk, and it didn’t pay off!

Later on, Dustin Rhodes faced off with Kip Sabian, in a match where Dustin claimed he would retire from AEW if he lost. You just knew the elder Rhodes’ career wasn’t going to end in an empty venue episode of Dynamite, so he got the job done to advance past Sabian.
That means we’ll see Cody Rhodes vs. Darby Allin in the next round, as well as Dustin Rhodes vs. Lance Archer.
Which of these four men will become the first ever TNT champion?
