After Jon Moxley successfully defended his AEW World Championship against Jake Hager last week on Dynamite, there are big shake-ups this week in the men’s rankings.
Hager dropped from #1 to #4. Cody Rhodes, Chris Jericho, and Kenny Omega all moved up one spot accordingly. That makes Cody the new #1 contender. It will be interesting to observe how AEW handles that situation if Cody is still #1 by the time Moxley needs a new challenger. Cody is not allowed to compete for the World Championship anymore, per his own stipulation after losing to Jericho at Full Gear. Will AEW ignore Cody? Or will they force wrestlers to defeat Cody to earn a title shot?
It may become a moot point. Lance Archer cracked the rankings for the first time at #5. He replaced Darby Allin. If Archer wins the TNT Championship tournament, then he’ll have a strong claim to be ranked #1.

Britt Baker hopped over Riho from #5 to #4 after her victory against Cassandra Golden on Dynamite last week. The rest of the rankings remains the same.
