Welcome back to the Sermon on the Mat, your weekly one-stop shop for news from the wider world of wrestling beyond the big cable TV monoliths that get all the coverage.
And the pandemic-induced lack of indie shows rolls on! It’s exceptionally sad this week, because this should have been the annual WrestleMania weekend blowout where I have like 30 upcoming shows for y’all and instead I’ve got... nothing.
It sucks.
There is a trickle of new content on IWTV, however, as Chikara are doing weekly empty arena shows on Saturday mornings, as well as weekday offerings from Limitless Wrestling and H2O, but without card info I don’t really have anything to hype for those.
Of course, there’s also their ongoing steady stream of new-to-you shows on the live feed, as well as Highspots Wrestling Network’s Twitch, for you to check out if you’d like.

IWRG Revolucion
Kicking off the free shows with an offering from longrunning #3 of the lucha libre scene IWRG, we’ve got a full card from Arena Naucalpan. It’s a solid hour of action, check it out!
AAW Point of No Return 2012
AAW’s free show freight train keeps rolling on with this one from 2012, featuring Arik Cannon & Jimmy Jacobs defending the tag titles, plus ACH and Davey Richards in action!
