Hangman Page will be without his tag team partner Kenny Omega for the next week or two, but he won’t have to do cowboy shit alone. Hangman will have a mystery partner by his side.
Omega had a physical few days to finish last month. He went overtime with PAC in a 30-minute Iron Man match on the February 26 edition of Dynamite. Omega then went a little over 30 minutes in an epic tag team title defense with Hangman against the Young Bucks at the Revolution PPV on February 29. As a result of those battles, Omega was put on the injured list for the March 4 edition of Dynamite as a precaution. It looks like his recovery will take a little longer.
AEW announced Omega will be out 1-2 weeks with a hand injury. That means Hangman will be allowed to select a mystery partner for the upcoming Dynamite when he competes against Le Sex Gods, Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara.
Kenny Omega will not be medically cleared for 1 - 2 more weeks as a result of his hand injury suffered at Revolution. Hangman Page will choose a mystery substitute partner to take on Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara in a non-title match this Wed, 3/11 in Salt Lake City on Dynamite. pic.twitter.com/Azk5BvVmtF

Let’s run down the list of potential partners for Hangman. The obvious story choice would be Matt Jackson. Nick Jackson may also still be sidelined, so that would free Matt up for tag action. It would be a great story opportunity for tensions to escalate between Hangman and Matt to deliver a heated singles bout between the two. Hangman Page vs Matt Jackson is the match I most desire right now in AEW. Give me what I want!
Darby Allin would like to throw his skateboard into the ring.

That would make story sense to continue his feud with the Inner Circle and with Guevara in particular.
The mystery partner could be a new big bucks signee, such as Lance Archer, Luke Harper, or Matt Hardy.
Since Dynamite will be in Salt Lake City, I can think of a certain basketball player that has pro wrestling experience. Karl Malone! The Utah Jazz great would be good for an awesome nostalgia pop, especially in front of his home team crowd.
My dark horse pick can bond with Hangman over a specific pet peeve.
One of my biggest pet peeves is long urinations. https://t.co/TwEFTgZxCD

Jack Evans is an unlikely choice, but he would bring the entertainment if given the chance.
As far as Jericho is concerned, Hangman’s mystery partner will be added to the list of pain.
Who do you think will be Hangman Page’s mystery partner against Le Sex Gods? Who is your preferred pick?
