MJF had a pre-taped promo on this week’s (Mar. 4) Dynamite where he made it clear that his sights are set on Jon Moxley’s AEW world championship. MJF said he is undefeated in AEW and will go through whoever it takes to become the next contender for the top prize in the promotion.
Being a douchebag heel, of course MJF couldn’t end his promo without getting in a few shots on his arch-rival who he defeated at Revolution, Cody Rhodes. MJF cleverly revealed that he was wearing a shirt that said “I Pinned Cody”, and admitted the shirt was obnoxious, regrettable, and distracting. Just like a neck tattoo.
.@The_MJF had some words for @CodyRhodes in #AEWDenver.

It looks like AEW has planted the seeds for Cody and MJF to take a break from each other for a while. Cody suddenly has Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Ortiz on his radar, while MJF is looking all the way to the top at Jon Moxley. What do you think about these new creative directions in AEW coming out of Revolution?
