WWE.com

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that — rumors. None of this has been confirmed as fact, it’s just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track rumor accuracy in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back you can find here. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • The Wrestling Observer Newsletter says that while there will be matches shot outside the Performance Center for WrestleMania 36, that venue will be the primary location for the two-night event.
  • WrestleVotes says a source within WWE has word that a lot of wrestlers are still hoping WrestleMania 36 gets postponed.
  • One of the matches planned for WrestleMania, although not finalized, was a six-way for the SmackDown women’s championship, with Bayley defending against Sasha Banks, Lacey Evans, Carmella, Naomi, and one other, per the WON.
  • There are a lot of moving parts within AEW, says the Observer, and it’s not certain what the company will do with its weekly shows going forward. They do plan to have a show next week, at the very least.
  • They also say it’s unclear if Blood & Guts will happen next week because AEW may not have made that decision yet.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you’d like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. And check our weekly Rumor Look Back here to keep track of how often rumors turn out to be correct.
