Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week’s nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - WWE’s Elimination Chamber PPV, the Mar. 9 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday’s Impact, NWA Powerrr & AEW Dark, Dynamite & NXT from Wednesday, NXT UK on Mar. 12, SmackDown on Friday, this week’s MLW Fusion & ROH TV, and any other televised or internet streaming wrestling that aired from Mar. 8 - 14, 2020.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
When he’s on, he’s on...
- And since Royal Rumble, The Viper has been ON. Just ask Beth Phoenix.
- Was a nice week for Raw, with the The Man making like a King and her subjects throwing all their weight behind her in the voting. Plua, the #1 contender to the WWE title kicking Brock Lesnar around, and some new tag team champs.
- Only one Wednesday show made an impression, and it wasn’t the one on USA. A Hall of Famer threatened Cody, an up-and-comer took a mid-air Judas Effect, Hangman took care of business, and the new champ talked tough before getting snuffed out.
- The Firefly Fun House host was Friday’s only entrant. Not sure if other’s deserved to be, but I know that by breathing life into a WrestleMania feud, he definitely did.
