Last night, WWE didn’t make an official decision on the status of this week’s (Mar. 13) episode of SmackDown. It seemed probable that WWE would be relocating SmackDown out of Detroit and into the Orlando Performance Center. That is indeed the case.
Here is the statement that WWE gave to PWInsider:
“Friday Night SmackDown on March 13 will air live as regularly scheduled and emanate from WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida with only essential personnel in attendance. The event was originally scheduled in Detroit, Michigan.”
The show is currently scheduled to take place without a live audience of fans, but Insider says that’s not set in stone.
This is WWE’s first main roster event that has been rescheduled due to the coronavirus pandemic. No decision has been made yet about the status of WrestleMania 36.
