On last night’s (Mar. 11) episode of Dynamite, Christopher Daniels designed a plan that will prove the Exalted One of the Dark Order doesn’t actually exist. Well, his plans might already be up in smoke, because AEW is promoting next week’s (Mar. 18) episode of Dynamite by telling us that the identity of the Exalted One will finally be revealed.
Here is exactly how Jim Ross described it during the broadcast:
“We understand that we’re gonna find out who the Exalted One is next week, next Wednesday night, in Rochester.”
That doesn’t sound ambiguous to me, so hopefully AEW will deliver on their word. And what do you know, Brodie Lee’s hometown happens to be Rochester, New York.
If Daniels is determined to fight both Stu Grayson and Evil Uno in separate matches, in order to prove that the Exalted One doesn’t exist, then those matches will presumably occur before the Exalted One is revealed, so the clock is already running out on Daniels’ plan.
In addition to the Exalted One reveal, the following two matches are also being advertised for next week’s episode:
- Lucha Bros (w/PAC) vs. Best Friends (w/Orange Cassidy)
- The Elite vs. The Inner Circle (6-man tag where the winner will have the advantage for Blood & Guts)
Do you think AEW will actually deliver the Exalted One next week in Rochester, New York, or is there going to be a swerve?
Update: AEW has announced a new location for this episode of Dynamite.
