On Monday Night Raw, Rhea Ripley interrupted Charlotte Flair’s promo and punched her in the face. That was the last chapter of their build to the NXT Women’s title match at WrestleMania 36.
So tonight at NXT, the Queen decided to return the favor. But instead of interrupting Ripley to punch her back, after a brief war of words, she decided to target Rhea’s leg. It started with a brawl that was back and forth, but Charlotte got the upperhand. That’s when things went bad for Rhea.

This is smart. An injury could add a new angle to this story that’s been just about who’s better and posturing. Charlotte targets the leg with her Figure Eight. Softening up Rhea Ripley makes perfect sense.
We’ll see if this leg attack becomes a bigger part of the story as it goes on.
