This week’s (Mar. 11) episode of Dynamite kicked off with Cody Rhodes (and his neck tattoo) in a singles match against Ortiz. Would Cody be able to bounce back following his devastating loss against MJF at Revolution?
Before the match could really get going, Jake “The Snake” Roberts walked out with Lance Archer, who the commentators assumed must be Roberts’ client. Roberts and Archer decided to get an up close look at Cody with some ringside seats.
With an assist from Brandi Rhodes and Arn Anderson, Cody was able to thwart interference from Santana and pick up a submission win over Ortiz. Archer teased jumping over the barricade at one point, but ultimately the Murderhawk Monster and The Snake decided to take their leave without instigating a physical confrontation.
.@LanceHoyt wants in! But, @JakeSnakeDDT has something else planned.
