AEW DYNAMITE RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR MAR. 11
Now your charming little virus is getting all your attention as I drag my chair up to the window to absorb some solar lashings. It’s your saint’s name day tomorrow but last year’s paper wasps, they are not living anymore. Why should I be scorned like some catalyst for famines when it’s me who’s been exiled in apartments? Oh, must I always be chaos arpeggiating? I kinda have to liveblog this here pro wrestling show right now, after all.
The show opens with a recap of last week’s world title scene stuff.
”Hangman” Adam Page is shown being interviewed earlier today about his mystery partner.
The Young Bucks roll up and Page says he needs somebody he’s known for a long time and somebody he trusts, but that’s not either Buck. His partner for tonight is a mystery, you see.
Cody Rhodes vs. Ortiz
Drop down, off the ropes, Ortiz with a double palm thrust and Rhodes returns the favor with a dropkick! Arm wringer, whip reversed, up and over, snap scoop powerslam for one! Jake “the Snake” Roberts comes through the crowd with Lance Archer and Ortiz Cactus Clotheslines Cody to the floor! Putting him arm-first into the barricade, but Rhodes is able to whip him into the steel steps in return!
Staring Santana down, Cody takes him back inside, backbreaker rack drop, into a half crab but Angel slips out, back rake, Rhodes gets the drop down slap and Ortiz pulls referee Paul Turner into the corner. Cody too concerned with fending Santana off and Angel kicks his leg out of his leg! Choking him over the middle rope, Ortiz backs off and Rhodes gets a big knee to the midsection!
Up and over countered into a shoulder kneebreaker, snap suplex follows for a two count, he dumps Rhodes to the floor and Santana attacks him with a madball shot to the leg! Continuing to work the leg over, poke of the eye, cover comes up empty and Ortiz starts throwing hands. Off the ropes, Cody with a forearm and a release suplex, fired up and looking to get back in the fight.
Charging in, mounted corner punches, he throws the weight belt into the crowd and heads up top again but Ortiz crotches him in the turnbuckles! Jockeying for position, Rhodes knocks him down but Santana goes to interfere and Brandi whips him with her belt! Superplex from Angel, cover gets two! Off the ropes, duck a lariat, a tope takes Santana out as he threatens Arn Anderson!
Ortiz dives, Rhodes catches him and gourdbusters him on the ramp! Archer looking to jump the barricade, Jake gets in his ear and he backs off. Fisherman suplex into the bridge for a nearfall, Beautiful Disaster ducked, Cody rolls through, thinking Cross Rhodes but a knee strike counters it. In the corner, Rhodes gets a dragon screw throught the ropes and follows it up with a hamstring kick and a slingshot stomp to the back of the knee!
Leg pick, spinning toehold, figure four leglock applied in the middle of the ring! Angel rolls over on his belly and reverses the pressure but Cody gets it right back...
Cody Rhodes wins by submission with the figure four leglock.
Post-match, Santana lays Cody out with the madball! Arn Anderson gets in the ring and he backs off, and Matt Jackson and Kenny Omega make the save!
Chris Jericho appears on the tron alongside Jake Hager and Sammy Guevara and calls Cody out.
He says not to forget what he said about putting the entire roster on notice, and at Blood & Guts, they’re gonna beat the shit out of all of them. And you might be wondering where Nick Jackson is, and well, they just ran into him and he’s got a little bit of a headache. The camera pans out... AND NICK JACKSON IS LYING UNDER A GARAGE DOOR, BLEEDING WITH IT CLOSED ON HIS HEAD!
The Inner Circle leave and the assembled babyfaces rush backstage to lift the door and tend to Nick, and we go to break.
Back from commercial, we see Nick Jackson being loaded into the ambulance and the babyfaces get loaded into a car to follow behind.
Bea Priestley & Nyla Rose vs. Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander
Rose and Priestley putting boots to the babyfaces out the gates, Nyla and Shida legal as the Native Beast chokes her in the corner. Hikaru with desperation forearms, off the ropes, Rose shoulder blocks her down and she kips up! Shoving her, but Nyla grabs a handful of hair and clubs her down! Scoop and a slam, leg drop, only two! Tag to Bea, clubbing Shida down in the corner.
Keeping the pressure up, beating Hikaru down, she gets a knee strike on Rose and the tag as we go to break.
Back from commercial, Priestley has Statlander locked in a grounded octopus! Whip reversed, mule kick, up top but Kris cuts her off and hits a backbreaker! Hanging Bea up in the corner, tag made and Shida suplexes Statlander into her! Trading blows, off the ropes and Priestley decks her with a roundhouse kick and gets an enzuigiri in return! Bea’s German gets a running knee to the back of the head from Shida!
Tag to Rose, she clears the apron and puts boots to Hikaru! Hanging her over the top rope, popping up top... BUT THE KNEE DROP COMES UP EMPTY! Shida staggers her, missile dropkick to the knee, sandwiching the champ with kicks but the cover comes up empty! Brainbuster denied, enzuigiri connects, Falcon Arrow on the champ... BEA BREAKS IT UP! Match breaks down, Kris dumps her to the floor and starts trading shots with Nyla only to get dropped with a lariat!
Looking for the Beast Bomb, Priestley heads up top but Hikaru counters into a Frankensteiner! Superplex on Bea! Rose with a spear! Powerbomb lift...
Bea Priestley & Nyla Rose win by pinfall with a Beast Bomb from Rose on Hikaru Shida.
Post-match, Priestley puts boots to Rose and holds the AEW Women’s World Championship above her head before throwing it to the champ!
A recap of Dark Order business follows.
We get a vignette from Christopher Daniels in the style of the Dark Order self-help infomercial gimmick in which he runs the Order down and says there is no Exalted One. He challenges Evil Uno and Stu Grayson to singles matches any time they like, and says that when he beats them and the Exalted One doesn’t save them, it’ll be proof that he’s right.
A podcast ad sends us to break.
Butcher and the Blade (Andy Williams & Pepper Parks) & Maxwell Jacob Friedman vs. Jurassic Express (“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry, Luchasaurus, & Marko Stunt)
Stunt and Friedman to start, Max taking his jacket off to show off his “I pinned Cody” shirt before shoving Marko into his corner. Tag to Luchasaurus, MJF taunting and he bumps into the dinosaur and skitters back into his corner when he turns to see him. All six men square off in the ring, Friedman decides to fight but ends up on his knees and begging off, and it was a ruse!
Stereo chop blocks from Butcher and the Blade, and they start working the Luchasaurus over with quick tags. At one point he’s able to get a goozle but the heels rally and MJF presses the attack, going after his legs with vigor. Quick tags continue and we go to break.
Back from commercial and Luchasaurus is crawling, desperate for the tag. Parks cuts him off, kick to the shoulder, the dinosaur man catches him with a Black Magic roundhouse kick! MJF and Pepper litterally holding his legs to block the tag but he marches them towards the corner! TAG TO JUNGLE BOY! Lighting ‘em up with kicks and elbows, off the ropes and he drops the Blade with a lariat!
Legsweep into an imploding senton atomico, Max to the floor, he wants to go off the ropes but Williams goozles him! Stunt up top, he dives and keeps Andy locked up, hitting a DDT at the same time Perry hits a handspring kick on the other two! Dive, they catch Marko but Jack comes off the ropes with a dive to wipe them out! High fives, back inside... BRILLO LUCHASAURUS!
Back inside, double chokeslam into a standing moonsault on Friedman... BUTCHER THROWS MARKO STUNT INTO THE COVER TO BREAK IT UP! WILLIAMS AND LUCHASAURUS HEADBUTT EACH OTHER AGAIN AND AGAIN! TRADING FOREARMS! BIG MAN VIOLENCE! Knee into a crescent kick but the Butcher drops him with a lariat! Stunt in, putting boots to MJF and he’s pissed when Perry pulls him off!
Directing traffic, Bunny plays interference, Wardlow takes out Luchasaurus, Max capitalizes...

Tony Schiavone interviews Dr. Britt Baker, DMD.
She brought his favorite coffee and she would have brought some for the whole crowd, but caffeine is frowned upon here in Utah, so... She also would have liked to have a couple cold ones, but whoops, can’t do that either. Sugar, however, isn’t hard to find around here, because there’s high BMIs and poor oral health. Fortunately, she’s a dentist and she can help.
Also everyone’s face looks similar, like this is a giant family reunion, but she’s here to be a role model, and she’ll lead by example. Tony tells her she’s not making friends here but she says she can’t thank us enough for the standing ovations every week—
Enter “Big Swole” Aerial Monroe.
She tells Britt to keep talking and says she acts like she doesn’t watch the product. Baker slides behind Schiavone and Aerial tells her he doesn’t even like her. Britt says she’s irrelevant and the only one in her household that anyone cares about is her boyfriend (she’s with Cedric Alexander, if y’all didn’t know), to which Monroe points out she’s married... Bay Bay.
Baker’s response to this is to throw Tony’s coffee in Big Swole’s face and send us to break.
Death Triangle (PAC, Pentagon, Jr., & Rey Fenix) vs. Joey Janela & Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen)
Kassidy game to start but Death Triangle swarm and take everybody out! PAC gets in to start, trading fast-paced high flying offense with Isiah, Quen can’t quite get the tag and Fenix tags in to keep working him over. Marq gets the tag, so fast, huge satellite DDT and Pentagon tags in! Janela with the tag for his team, whip reversed, off the ropes, lariat connects, but Joey dawdles and Rey is able to cut him off.
Stereo dropkicks from Private Party, Janela directing traffic... PLANCHA OFF THE TOP! He draws Fenix up and we go to break.
Back from commercial, Lucha Brothers are working Kassidy over but he gets a tag to Janela! Lariats to clear house, suicide dive torpedoes Fenix, back inside, setting him up top, right hand, tag to Quen. Frankensteiner into a Death Valley Driver, shooting star press... PENTAGON BREAKS IT UP! Tag made, duck a lariat, Sling Blade connects! Leg kick, Penta stacks him up and Death Triangle run roughshod over Marq!
Powerbomb into a lungblower, diving stomp... SO CLOSE! Tag to PAC, rolling solebutt, front kick, another solebutt, German suplex but Quen lands on his feet and tags the Bad Boy in! Passing the brothers to the floor but PAC nails him with a kick! Forearm from the apron, fireman’s carry, fending ‘em off... DEATH VALLEY DRIVER INTO A DIVING ELBOW BUT PAC KICKS OUT!
Lucha Brothers pull Private Party to the floor, Janela off the ropes, Fenix with a springboard Ace Crusher, Pentagon with the underhooks, package piledriver / double stomp, Rey with a tope con giro, PAC up top...
Death Triangle win by pinfall with Black Arrow from PAC on Joey Janela.
Post-match, Death Triangle lock all three babyfaces up in one giant submission! BEST FRIENDS MAKE THE SAVE! Orange Cassidy slides in the ring and kips up!
Dustin Rhodes is interviewed backstage.
He’s pissed off and tired of the Inner Circle running roughshod on everybody, including his family. You saw what happened to Nick Jackson, and somebody needs to stop ‘em, so he says he’s Hangman Page’s partner whether he likes it or not, and he’s fixin’ to kick some ass and do some cowboy shit.
And so we go to break.
Back from commercial we get a vignette for Shawn Spears’ quest for a partner, including clips from Suge D, Mr. Brickster, and Anthony Bowens, among others.
Commentary informs us that we’re gonna find out who the Exalted One is next week.
We get a Jim Ross sitdown interview with Jon Moxley.
He’s not cleared to compete and he’s pissed off about it. He talks about his plans for revenge and so on and we go to break.
Back from commercial, we get our main event entrances.
”Hangman” Adam Page & Dustin Rhodes vs. Inner Circle (Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara)
Page and Jericho to start but Y2J tags out and hugs Guevara. Off the ropes, whips, feeling out and a tag to Rhodes. Whip across, tag back to Hangman and Sammy throws him to the floor, where he’s surrounded by the rest of the Inner Circle and Jericho whips a triangle dropkick at him! Working him over on the floor a beat, back inside, Chris throwing chops.
Rhodes gets a tag, drop down slap on Sammy, Manhattan Drop, running bulldog, snap suplex, and we go to break.
Back from commercial, the Inner Circle have Rhodes isolated, posing in front of him after they drop him down. Dustin with right hands, back elbow from Jericho, Lionsault... THE KNEES WERE UP! Tags made, Page in a house afire, doing that Cowboy Shit, springboard lariat, fallaway slam, kip-up, plancha takes Y2J out! Sliding lariat, only two! Dragon screw attempt, Guevara gets a crescent kick and the tag!
Jericho with chops, whip reversed, back body drop to the apron, right hand, fend Ortiz off, babyfaces up top... splash from Rhodes and an Orihara moonsault from Hangman! Fired up, he goes for Buck Shot but Jericho counters into the Walls! Dustin breaks it up with a back rake and Y2J tags Sammy in! Guevara up top... NOBODY HOME ON THE SHOOTING STAR!
Boot from the apron from Page, he’s got him lined up but Jericho pulls him off the apron! Referee Bryce Remsburg trying to restore order but Hangman hits Chris with a version of Buck Shot off the apron! Flip piledriver from Rhodes, Adam is in position...

Post-match, the Inner Circle jump our babyfaces and beat them down! KENNY OMEGA MAKES THE SAVE, BROKEN HAND AND ALL! But he gets overwhelmed by That Damn Numbers Game and eats a Judas Effect! CODY RHODES IS BACK IN THE ARENA AND HE MAKES THE SAVE! PUTTING BOOTS TO JERICHO BUT HAGER HITS THE HIGH-ANGLE SWINGING SPINEBUSTER AND DUMPS HIM TO THE FLOOR!
Ortiz hooks Rhodes on the ramp... STRAIGHT SUPLEX ON THE STEEL! Jake Hager laying strikes in on Omega in the ring but Jericho directs traffic and gets him to the floor. Chair in hand, they drag Page to the stage, set up for the triple powerbomb... MATT JACKSON MAKES THE SAVE! SUPERKICK! DOUBLE SPEAR! FIRED UP AND RAINING PUNCHES DOWN ON CHRIS JERICHO!
Jackson gets face to face with Page and flips him the bird! JERICHO WALLOPS BOTH OF ‘EM WITH THE CHAIR! Chris sets the chair over Matt’s chest and sits on it, taunting!
