RUSH is a two-time ROH World champion.
El Toro Blanco regained the belt from PCO at the Gateway to Honor show last night (Sat., Feb. 29) in St. Charles, Missouri. PCO was defending a Triple Threat against RUSH and Mark Haskins, but it was NWA Worlds champion Nick Aldis that was the deciding factor.

The NWA and ROH had announced a PCO vs. Aldis match for WrestleMania weekend’s Supercard of Honor XIV. That was set-up when PCO pinned The National Treasure in a tag match at February’s Free Enterprise show. RUSH was Aldis’ partner in the match, but the two couldn’t get on the same page and the Mexican star walked out on the NWA champ. It’s not clear if the bout on April 4 in Lakeland will change now that The French Canadian Frankenstein no longer has the ROH strap.
Also in this increasingly active inter-promotional storyline, Aldis is also set to defend his NWA title against Scurll at The Crockett Cup PPV on April 19.
We’ll see how all that plays out. For now, congrats to RUSH, and a tip of the cap to PCO on his 78 day run with the title.
